- Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot give their thoughts on the Bills' decision to sign former WWE superstar and Olympic wrestling gold medalist Gable Steveson to a three-year contract. Does it make sense and what's the longterm projection for the wrestler who's never played professional football?

Double leg is the new nfl tackling foundation, but lets not forget how we always wanted our d linemen to wrestle in high school because wrestlers have some of the best center of gravity and body moving techniques built into them, im interested to see how this turns out!
The insider text line is a great deal you guys do a super job.👏🏻
I remember after the 2020 season coach wanted him right after the Olympics. He finally got his wrestler. Love this signing
Compact frame, special strength, expert body mover
Yes now all he needs is football footwork scheme workouts and football hand fighting should come in naturally
AND NEVER PLAYED FOOTBALL LOL 😂
@@jacoballen3882 where are your gold medals at???
@hecbec same place as his football experience lol
“Where are YOUR gold medals?”
That reminds me of the Sumo wrestler in the movie The Replacements - expert at pushing people around 😊
Now that weed is “somewhat” legal in N.Y. The Bills are making some strange decisions. Is there a correlation?
Wild, dude is a pure phenom.
This is crazy. Well joe rogan is going to be talking about the bills soon
McDermotts idea
Ziggy Ansah Part 2?👀
Hey why not?🤷♂️
Kickoffs should be interesting. KC thinks they have it locked.
Anyone else think of Jack Brown from The Toy? Jack Browning?
Sam Martin did a decent job last year. It's the field goal kicker that's the issue in special teams. Doesn't look like the Bills are serious about moving away from Tyler Bass. I think this position need improvement.
kicker might be the last trade, we have cap space and there has to be kickers out there, i thought Kaʻimi Fairbarn should have been a part of the Diggs trade
Everyone eats..keeps the opposing defense on its heels also its somewhat harder to game plan for an offense if the defense doesn't know who's gonna get the ball any given game day and 😊on any given play.
This is gonna show the Young athletes that wrestling is Not only an individual Sport Extremely grueling and difficult to succeed at the highest level And how it correlates to the game of football without experience but having that ability Athletically is there a make a lot of kids join wrestling if they're smart
Sign Kurt angle next!
With a broken freakin' neck? I don't think so.
Guess no one is gonna talk about that one thing he did.🤔
Can't go wrong, 2% chance this guy makes the team. If he does, all upside. Nose tackle
FEED THE MONSTER EVERYBODY EATS!!!! THE BEASTS OF THE EAST!!! FEED ME!!!!
Did Matt say he's 5 11? Everything I'm seeing is hes 6 1? Looks like the bills misreported his height. He's 6 1
He's almost exactly the same size as Aaron Donald.
🤦🏿
My gut reaction is: are we that desperate? it's like a misfit of characters this year. hope it works out.
mmm...I say opportunity cost. How many worthy 1st round DEs has the NCAA produced in the past 10 years??
Do you think it’s desperate you should probably look at yourself and the women you choose to sleep with buddy.😂😂 that hog you call a wife is the epitome of desperation
Great... The practice squad awaits, and we are no closer to a Superbowl berth.
Am I the only one who is tired of Diggs talk. After every catch or target last year he either took himself or they took him off the field. I hated his need for a break so often. He wasn't playing key downs even early last year. I'm not upset he's gone. Move on people. Bills are still best in East.
Bills fans and Bills media will justify anything even if it’s stupid 😂
What a joke why not try sumo wrestlers next ?
The "everybody eats" mantra does seem cool, but I don't think the reason for it is because they're "free" of Stephon Diggs. I never got the impression that Diggs was a ball hog. He was more upset in a game they lost where he had insane targets, catches, and numbers vs a game they won where he wasn't getting as much production. The reason he was targeted a ton wasn't because it was forced, it was because he was GREAT. Why wouldn't you give your best skill player the ball as often as possible?
I do think that sadly he started declining towards the end of 2023 and we'll see if he'll be the same player in Houston that he was for the majority of his time in Buffalo in terms of production. Bills are a bottom 5 WR room in the league and are far weaker without Diggs than with him, IMO.
Cool story…
@@billsfan7883 It's all good if you disagree, I've been a lifelong Bills fan and want nothing more than to finally see them hoist a Lombardy. Maybe I'm wrong and we end up better off without him, but I was definitely bummed the day he got traded. Thought he'd have one more year here to help teach the younger WRs and help bridge us to 2025 where his cap hit for releasing or trading would've been way way less.
Move on. He's gone. You think they ate that contract b/c Diggs went and nicely asked to be released??? NO, He forced his way out of Buffalo. He's great. He really is fun to watch but he throws temper tantrums if the ball is not thrown his way. Allen had to look at him on every play. They started winning when diggs was somewhat ineffective. Then Allen hit him vs KC on a 65 yard bomb and the crybaby dropped it. Why didn't his lil bro tweet how allen is holding his older brother back after that drop????? It's really nice to be done with diggs. He's great but he's a head case.
Wrestler who NEVER played football. So another project. I guess the London guy and the wrestler can practice and teach each other on the Practice squad.
Give me a Break! Ryan is good, but he’s nowhere near great. I’m 5 years older than the Bills and have vivid memories from 1963 -as do many of my friends & family. You’re both way too young and way too full of yourselves to ever comprehend reality. Exaggerate Much? 🤦♂️
😂😅 it puts the lotion on his skin
So because you watched mediocre football in the 60s, it makes you an expert? But they’re the delusional ones?
Wow thank you for doing a almost half an hour podcast on a guy who committed rape and they had to change a legal loophole so no one get away with it again and not mentioning it. Insane Journalistic integrity to ignore all of it and not hold Brandon Beane who preaches process and culture responsible. Makes the organization look bad and like hypocrites after the Ariza situation. I've never in my life been so insanely disappointed in the Bills and my favorite podcast who covers it. Absolutely pathetic work by the Bills and the Bills centric media covering it. Also he failed in WWE cause even their fans rejected a rapist.
Your comment is ridiculous. The accusation was spurious at best. Neither man admitted guilt nor were they brought charges against let alone proven guilty in any court.
The law existed for a reason, the pressure of the lynch mob mentality of the "me too" movement is what caused the change in law. So now women everywhere in Minnesota can have a drink, claim they were "raped" after they changed their mind about the sex. Start a criminal accusation and get ready for a lucrative civil trial.
You are operating on the premise those men were guilty and they had no trial, the matter was dismissed because a law existed which said basically if a woman gets intoxicated with men of her own will and has sex that she can't turn around immediately and accuse them of rape because she was "too intoxicated".
Personally I've seen those cases before and there's plenty of women who willingly have sex and suddenly the next morning they feel some kinda way and change their minds. That is bullshite. If it was forceable rape there would be evidence and the "i was intoxicated" ruse wouldn't be necessary.
No, I do not automatically believe all women. That is bullshite. I believe in due process and Steveson never got any yet you and hacks at the USA Today write smear stories about Steveson. There was no crime let alone a trial and people out here just smearing him. Yup, the last vestiges of the hypocritical asinine politically inspired me too movement is dying. Thankfully. It was kind of reminiscent of the Salem Witch trials. A politically expedient way to destroy an opponent, usually.
I mean if you wanna use this weak ass bar as the standard, go arrest President Biden for the much more credible rape of Tara Reade. Far less credible accusations were also made against Trump and "proven" in a clearly rigged civil trial. No im not fan of either president but you get the point. Get off your high horse.
You can't call them rapists because there was no criminal conviction and just a weak ass accusation. ACCUSATIONS from women on rape are a dime a dozen common occurrence. When true they are heinous crimes, YES, but far too often they're just used as a tool to fleece young men and their families, or for political assassination or for long-game monetary motives.
Take your weak ass judgemental, whiney, anti-bills rhetoric elsewhere. Smh. Bills don't need it. Seems like everything they do which other teams also do is magnified and spotlighted. We don't need fair weather fans like that.
The Araiza case was very different and factually Matt was released by the Bills SPECIFICALLY so he could defend his very life at stake--NOT as any kind of punishment for any perceived or accused crime!! Smh.
The fact that 90% of people thought he (Araiza) was guilty, yet he was NOT, should be enough to shut people like you up about adding more hollow accusations toward anyone else, yet it never seems to teach the intended lesson and have the desired effect it should.
"Innocent until proven guilty in a criminal court of law." Period! Until that happens there is no "rapist" for you to speak of, so shush yourself. Bills did nothing wrong here and I look forward to Steveson hopefully showing he can play NFL football and play well. If not, no big loss for the Bills. Fair weather fans take a long walk off a short pier. Real Bills fans have had enough of the over the top criticism of the biased mainstream sports media.
Then go away. Bye bye.👋 👋👋
@@greggonda4540 so you’re cool with the bills having a rapist and fans that have a problem with it should go away?
As he was not convicted you should stop slandering the guy, unless you were there you dont know anything. You bring up Ariza and then dont mention he was proven innocent costing the bills a draft pick. Deciding someone is guilty just because they are accused is for communists
Was he charged? Then go cry in the closet
The Bills are so desperate lol 😂
You want some peanutbutter with that jealous
@@DeepThinker-gc8nz lol 😆
A guy whos never played football before. Lol and all you Bills fans are posting it like its a win. 😂😂😂 typical Bills Fans
