Hope u have alot of rainbow balls for her bc even if u see a gold during the summoning animation, the banners basically work on a 50/50. So basically if u see a gold, there's a 50/50 chance it's either the special 5star for that banner or a regular 5star character in that drop table. Ontop of that, once that 5star is obtained your pity points reset back to default
Summoning Nahida won’t be this hard since there’s a lot of primogems you can get early game but it might be a lil complicated to build her since all her mats are at Sumeru which is pretty far😭. But i’d say you wait till AR 35 or 40 so that you can go there to unlock her artifact domain and be closer to the land of Sumeru, if you get Nahida
If you want to get her you need Primogems which you get from doing quests, exploration, events etc but then there’s the pity system. If you want her because of dendro application you don’t necessarily need her. When you clear chamber 3 floor 3 in abyss you get the character collei for free. (You will get abyss a bit later on) She’s a dendro bow character. In many events as well you sometimes get the opportunity to get a character for free (4star character) if you reach the requirements for it!
I like how you read all the books and everything. Also, this is the first time I've seen someone happy to have Diluc, people talk bad about him and give a bad image to new players. He's very good, I am ar60 and I am still happy with my Diluc, he will be very useful to you at the beginning of the game.

Everytime you pull for a 5 star character, you have a 50% chance of the event character and 50% for a standard character, but if you get a standard character your next 5 star is guaranteed to be a event limited character. And also pity system, you have a 0.6% chance of getting a 5 star per pull, but once you get up to 74 pulls you'll enter soft pity where every pull next will stack by 6% and if your still unlucky your 5 star will be at the 90th pull guaranteed
To clarify, this is just accurate if the standard is pulled on the event banner! The pity/guarantee does not apply, if the standard character is obtained via the standard banner after getting a guarantee on the event one.
just so you know, at 6:55 when the second wave spawned in, the enemy to focus on first is gonna be the shortest hilichurl, the one with the blue staff, bc he can summon a rainstorm that heals other hilichurls. and unless you have non-beginner damage, (which you don't) you probably won't be able to deal enough damage to kill them
Just gonna leave this here because I know you're interested in Diluc. There's actually a Genshin manga that has around 20 chapters, it acts as a prologue to Genshin, mainly Mondstadt (A prologue to the prologue if you will.) I highly recommend checking it out, it has Diluc and Kaeya lore, Venti lore and Amber lore. It's a good read. Just wanted to make you aware of it before you advanced too far.
It also introduces Collei, a character you'll meet if you get deeper into the game, and also introduces a Fatui Harbinger who is basically the main villain right now.
It's nice to see someone genuinely interested in the game. It reminds me of the days when I first started playing. The story just keeps getting more and more interesting. As for the banners: Even though the current weapon banner is quite good, I don't recommend spending wishes on it at the start of the game. Nahida is one of the best characters in the game, well-suited for both beginners and experienced players, and there is still plenty of time before her banner ends. I recommend trying to get her. Additionally, among the four-star characters, there are Xingqiu and Kuki, who, together with Nahida, make for a great squad. Xingqiu also combines well with Diluc. Hu Tao is a strong character but is more suitable for high-level players.
thank you so much for reading the books and investing in the lore 😭 as someone who’s been playing since beginning of 2021, I didn’t care about the lore but I regret it so much now. One tip based on what I’ve noticed watching your videos is that you should explore the domains you are in more. A lot of them have chests that you are missing.

As an AR 59, I thoroughly enjoyed this and liked how you get hyped about things. Diluc is great and I use him a lot for overworld exploration. Good luck with all your pulls!
Bennett is one of the best supports in the game ^^. Ofc, you should play the characters you like, but building him will definitely be worth it. He both heals and gives you an attack boost
idk if u have bought it already but i highly suggest buying the welkin moon if u intend on pulling for characters because it gives u sm primos as long as u login and its only 5$.
also congrats on the Diluc pull! It took me 2 whole years to get him and as soon as I did I built him to max level and got the special effect thing (some end game stuff don’t worry about it) for him
Not gonna lie bro I've been playing this game for 3 years and you make it seems waaaaaaay more fun then it already is. Thanks for bringing back my joy. 😊
I love watching your videos because they bring back good memories of the beginning of the game. Also, your gameplay is so focused and reads everything which makes watching you enjoyable.
Here are some tips that can be helpful! Noelle’s shield is quite good and she can heal too. Her burst/super enhances her claymore with geo and increases her damage, it will make her deal a lot more damage when you attack with her normal attacks after using the burst!
I find the contrast between how secrets are kept in different nations interesting: * In Monstadt, most of the major characters have and know secrets and simply do not talk about them, even in private with other people who ought to know. To such an extent that I'm still not sure how much characters like Barbara know beyond "some of the stuff she's never even hinted at knowing, and definitely a lot about Rosaria". * In Liyue that doesn't work due to a combination of general busybodyness and people who really don't cross paths frequently enough trying to help each other out. As a result, a whole lot of apparently innocuous conversations actually start with somebody very quickly going over what's being kept a secret from whom by telling a succession of minor lies about things like how the "chance" meeting happened and who they all are that the parties in the know can recognize as lies and interpret the intent behind. * In Inazuma it's like a more polite version of Liyue and a more discreet Monstadt, where it's okay to let people know there ARE secrets you know but not to let even other people who know them figure out which the relevant secrets are. (While the storyline clearly got somewhat abridged, subsequent events have given us context on the series of events that makes it clear pretty much everybody we met knew far more than they were telling us and were actually being careful to protect us from "tainted information" we could potentially be questioned about.) * Sumeru, unsurprisingly, has codified the concept of "need to know" and is usually pretty open about applying it all over the place. At the same time, this is a place where even villains generally respect the spirit of inquiry and you will find included some of the sanest takes on when continuing to keep a secret has just become counterproductive. Fittingly, it's also the first place you'll have one of the really huge secrets finally just laid out for you along with why NOBODY you've already met who' knows both it and its relevance to you was willing to bring up the subject unless you'd figured out enough to ask exactly the corrrect question. * Fontaine, surprisingly if you didn't figure out the Hydro Archon's philosophy and general perspective on matters before going there (it IS still possible to deduce this from what the game's given you before crossing the border although much harder without event-only details about its inexplicable energy crisis and the strange government-generated impediments to the government-mandated research into fixing this), combines a rigid bureaucracy theoretically locking down information with a passionate spirit of uncovering and gossiping about every single secret which is simply titillating or could embarrass public figures... and you'll eventually realize this is all distracting you from noticing that the truly dangerous secrets tend to stay unspoken and not even hinted at. * Natlan... doesn't have a lot of secrets to start with due to a heavy social emphasis on community: people tend to sort everybody out into "enemy", "tourist", and "like family". Either you're told nothing at all, everything not a secret is being openly shared with you, or you have "deserve to know" and are simply told everything as it comes up. * Snezhnaya has loads of secrets, and... well, you should run across the nursery rhyme on the subject soon enough. Let's say they have a very rigid attitude towards the concept.
Constantly doing these 1 hour+ videos is so crazy... the first video of yours i saw i fr thought it was a reposted live stream. the fact you consistently edit these long ass videos for us is....i appreciate your channel so much T____T
Im really impressed. You really take advantage of elemental reactions. A lot of new players including myself just use one character and expect high damage. Youre doing great as a beginner.
I’ve been playing this game for years now and I got so much joy watching you enjoy it. Even after all those characters, quests and lore bombs, Mondstadt’s charm is something else. Also congrats on getting Diluc!
If you keep on playing, I think you're gonna become the Lore OG bro, damn. You actually reading the books and following the story closely is impressive. I've subbed, keep it up bro!
Yo I just finished watching your previous episodes! Really enjoying listening to you play through genshin for the first time, hope you continue posting these!
Hello! I've been checking my notifications for your next Genshin episode. These are a lot of fun and really make my day. You're entertaining and I am really enjoying this series. Also, Diluc is a pretty good character imo. He's easy to build and can be quite strong. I would definitely say Nahida is worth pulling for sure! I hope you can get her! Thank you again for such fun content!!
Hey I’m a big fan of your videos also a bit of information certain trials or missions will give you blue keys you can use these on small temples around the map that have good loot Also another tip don’t forget to mark any bosses or clumps of ores on the map with pins
Good job on getting Diluc. Great for early game. Well, I have him built to almost max on my end. Still use him in some of the latest content -Spiral, Imaginarium, the Local Legends- you will need characters you are comfortable with to get through these and more. But like I said in my past comment, DON'T RUSH. Have fun and enjoy the ride. You're lucky to have more than enough things to do so take your time. Also love LOVE that you read the lore. Those are my favorite parts. Me and my friends like to theorize about them as well. I'd love to also hear what you think as you progress through the story. 🥰
Don't know if youve spotted it yet but in the party screen theres a tab for elemental resonance which shows your added attributes. So essentially having two members of the same elemental affinity gives a team wide bonus. Such as +25% attack for 2x pyro, +15% crit rate for 2x cryo etc. Handy to know when team building
That’s *Captain* Kaeya Sparrow to you 😆 Btw the sword Kaeya gives us, Harbinger of Dawn, is pretty good cuz of its Crit stats. (With a catch…) It’s also the best f2p option for allot of sword characters that need damage (sub dps’s and main dps’s)
Hi whiz! I stumbled on your stream a few days ago. Its so refreshing to see new streamer liking the game. I had fun watching your 1st genshin vid. And on the 2nd vid, cemented my decision on subscribing to you. I love the way you pay attention to the "towns folk" and the lore of the game. BTW: cant wait for you to meet Ying'er More powers 😃
Bennett is an amazing support!! His E is good for getting energy for the bursts (q), he's a really broken support so any copies you get are WORTH it! His Q summons a circle that when you stand in it, if your HP is low (less than 60% I think), then he heals you up to a certain point - if your hp is already high, he gives your characters an insane dmg boost!
Youll get lots of other tips on gameplay and character building but my tip is if you want to find the true beauty of the game, it's in the lore and history and worldbuilding. There is so much backatory hidden in books and notes and item flavour text along with npc dialogue that weaves into a brilliant world. The more you look, the more you see and the more you get drawn into this world that tge devs clearly have planned out meticulously.
I like to see a new players playing genshin. I love your reactions, your gameplay, and your energy, it's something that is very enjoyable and refreshing to watch. It's rare for me to see someone playing and really reading almost the details of the story in the game and especially the stories in the books. I definitely become your new subscriber. Btw congrats on getting Diluc🎉 I can't wait your next video gameplay🔥
Nice job getting Diluc, he’s pretty good early game. As for his weapon, the battle pass has a good one called Serpent Spine but his best in slot is a standard banner weapon, Wolf’s Gravestone
Use the harbinger of dawn, it's useful even late game 3 stars you should level up Slingshot ( bow ) ( Crit Rate ) Harbinger of dawn ( sword ) ( Crit Dmg ) White tassel ( pole arm ) ( Crit Rate ) MAKE SURE U SAVE AT LEAST 5, THEY'RE VERY RARE LATE GAME, MAKE SURE NOT TO FEED THEM AS WEAPON ASCENSION MATERIALS 😂 Thrilling tales of dragon slayer ( catalyst ) ( Hp ) Debate club ( claymore ) ( Atk ) ESPECIALLY! The Dark iron sword ( sword ) ( EM ) also the rarest, only two in the game so far
@@powerrr666 it's not as rare tho, so it's mostly fine... You can get them simply through gatcha and chests White tassel's purely chest only and liyue specific too, after you 100% liyue, that's it 😂 no more white tassel
im really excited for your playthrough, it's nice to see all your lively reactions to the plot and mechanics. so if you decided to spend money on the game, go ahead, but know that your audience will enjoy your content as is for many other reasons! also, don't forget to take your stellar reunion rewards, the game tried to make you do so :')
Chongyun is a good character too, especially with constellation 4, but even before that hes a good Cryo support. Actually have him higher leveled than majority of my 5*s. All matter of opinion, but I think he's definitely worth the effort
Glad to see your new video on Genshin! I'd like to interest you with reading the official Genshin Impact manga - it's really good, and canonical. It covers some backstory of characters from Mondstadt involving Amber, Diluc, Kaeya, Jean and Lisa
You can dodge most attacks using what is called 'i-frames'. This is what happens during the first second of a dash, or during the animations of certain bursts/skills.
Wishing on the weapon banner is not really advisable as a new player unless you're planning to spend quite a lot of money (i.e. hundreds per month). For a new account you'll get more value (and most likely more fun) from characters so you can build different teams and you really won't need the power of 5* weapons to do the story. Also you can't specifically target Diluc's weapon anyway since he is a standard banner character. The best way to get an above average weapon for Diluc would be to buy the paid battlepass for 10 dollars and then select Serpent Spine from the weapon box when you get bp to level 30. It's a 4* but it rivals 5*s on some characters once you max it out with 5 copies. Plus you'll also get a bunch of other resources and premium currency as well. Just keep in mind you have to play daily and do the various tasks in order to unlock the bp rewards even if you buy the paid version. This is also still completely unnecessary and your Diluc will be fine with f2p options.
when you were fighting the BIG hilichurl and there was a big water area right? that was caused by the samachurl (water samachurl) and the water area HEALS allies in the area which means you have to kill the samachurl first!!. Oh and might as well teach you the wishing system 🫠 so when you wish a 10 pull you will be guaranteed to get 1+ four star and i think you already know that when the star turns purple its a four star and if its gold its a 5 star. When you reach pity (there is soft pity and hard pity. Soft pity is when you reach 70+ pulls. if you are at soft pity each pull that you don't get a 5 star you get a higher chance to get a 5 star. Hard pity the guaranteed 5 star aka 90+ pulls) when you get a 5 star on the limited banner (aka the nahida banner you pulled at) there is a 50/50 CHANCE to get the limited character (50% to get the limited character aka nahida and 50% to get a standard banner character which are : Tighnari ,Keqing ,Qiqi, Jean, Dehya, Mona and DILUC so you did lose the 50/50 😢😢 BUT the next time you get a 5 star IT IS GUARANTEED to get THE LIMITED CHARACTER.
Really enjoy watching your playthrough so far! Hilarious & willing to read & notice the lore of this game. I find there's not a lot of Let's Players willing to dive deeper into this game. Also got me feeling nostalgic lol There's a ton of hidden lore not just in the books you can collect but artifacts & item descriptions as well as in the World Quests. There are limited time event playthroughs you can watch (in the future) that also have interesting lore/foreshadowing. Really sucks new players can't experience it personally 😔 Artifacts will help you increase your damage & once you reach a certain AR level you'll be able to farm the domains. Each set is different but you can click & see recommendations based off other players. Some you can get just by beating bosses (which you'll need to "ascend" your characters!) And as long as your team is strong enough you can explore ALL of Teyvat rn (except Inazuma). Exploration is one of my favorite things to do
1:18:40 Erm, this early in the game, I advise you to NOT WISH ON THE WEAPON BANNER. Especially if you are planning on being free-to-play or a low-spender. Although it has gotten better recently, the weapon banner is still largely a Scam. Its much more worth while for your wishing savings to spend primogems on the limited character banners. And there are many 4 star weapons that are very good on characters (which you can get from wishing on character banners anyways). You do not NEED 5* weapons, especially as an early game player. (If you wanna wish on the weapon banner anyway, I can't stop you. But I advise you to at least fully understand the gacha system, the pull rates, and what are the possible weapons you can get, to see if you even wanr any of those weapons)
i saw you got bennet and hes great with dulic. as when you stand in bennet`s burst you get healing and an attack boost which is great as that is what dulic scales off. im glad you`re enjoying the game and i hope you get nahida

Not gonna lie bro I've been playing this game for 3 years and you make it seems waaaaaaay more fun then it already is. Thanks for bringing back my joy. 😊
Always appreciate a player that actually read the lore
I love watching your videos because they bring back good memories of the beginning of the game. Also, your gameplay is so focused and reads everything which makes watching you enjoyable.
you've gotten so good at elemental reactions already thats amazing---
Here are some tips that can be helpful! Noelle’s shield is quite good and she can heal too. Her burst/super enhances her claymore with geo and increases her damage, it will make her deal a lot more damage when you attack with her normal attacks after using the burst!
This guy deserves more subscribers tbh
I find the contrast between how secrets are kept in different nations interesting:
* In Monstadt, most of the major characters have and know secrets and simply do not talk about them, even in private with other people who ought to know.
(While the storyline clearly got somewhat abridged, subsequent events have given us context on the series of events that makes it clear pretty much everybody we met knew far more than they were telling us and were actually being careful to protect us from "tainted information" we could potentially be questioned about.)
* Sumeru, unsurprisingly, has codified the concept of "need to know" and is usually pretty open about applying it all over the place.
Diluc deserves someone as excited as that to pull him.
Constantly doing these 1 hour+ videos is so crazy... the first video of yours i saw i fr thought it was a reposted live stream. the fact you consistently edit these long ass videos for us is....i appreciate your channel so much T____T
3:46 thats the power move lolz, it didnt happen before cuz you shot him before you started taking damage 👍
i got hooked watching your first gameplay and now im here. gotta say you're one of the most entertaining and funniest new player ive ever seen
Holy bro you cooking \o/
This edits and you care about lore
My respect
Oh btw gratz with Diluc \o/
Diluc is an awesome unit, he was my first 5star and I use him to this day, its been 5 years lol
New episode! Lesgo! Been waiting for this!
you understand the lore quicker and so much better than most ppl ngl. im happy to see u pay so much attention to the little details of the story
Im really impressed. You really take advantage of elemental reactions. A lot of new players including myself just use one character and expect high damage. Youre doing great as a beginner.
I really enjoyed your videos and the way you comment and also youre good into the details. Keep it up! Youre doing a geat job :)
I’ve been playing this game for years now and I got so much joy watching you enjoy it. Even after all those characters, quests and lore bombs, Mondstadt’s charm is something else. Also congrats on getting Diluc!
It's so refreshing to see someone play for fun and lore
Really enjoying the gameplay so far. Hoping you don't drop the series 🙏🏻
Posted 5 Mins ago. I’m so ready! Been loving watching you play and can’t wait to see more!
Man your editing is very enjoyable to watch
Good job on getting Diluc. Great for early game. Well, I have him built to almost max on my end. Still use him in some of the latest content -Spiral, Imaginarium, the Local Legends- you will need characters you are comfortable with to get through these and more.
But like I said in my past comment, DON'T RUSH. Have fun and enjoy the ride. You're lucky to have more than enough things to do so take your time. Also love LOVE that you read the lore. Those are my favorite parts. Me and my friends like to theorize about them as well. I'd love to also hear what you think as you progress through the story. 🥰
Also wanted to say I enjoy the long videos ty whiz
Don't know if youve spotted it yet but in the party screen theres a tab for elemental resonance which shows your added attributes. So essentially having two members of the same elemental affinity gives a team wide bonus. Such as +25% attack for 2x pyro, +15% crit rate for 2x cryo etc. Handy to know when team building
That’s *Captain* Kaeya Sparrow to you 😆
Btw the sword Kaeya gives us, Harbinger of Dawn, is pretty good cuz of its Crit stats.
BTW: cant wait for you to meet Ying'er
More powers 😃
Bennett is the best support in the game! So lucky!
If you’re interested in the lore, read the books and the “flavor text” of all the items in your inventory and archive
Nice job getting Diluc, he’s pretty good early game. As for his weapon, the battle pass has a good one called Serpent Spine but his best in slot is a standard banner weapon, Wolf’s Gravestone
Use the harbinger of dawn, it's useful even late game
3 stars you should level up
Slingshot ( bow ) ( Crit Rate )
Harbinger of dawn ( sword ) ( Crit Dmg )
White tassel ( pole arm ) ( Crit Rate )
MAKE SURE U SAVE AT LEAST 5, THEY'RE VERY RARE LATE GAME, MAKE SURE NOT TO FEED THEM AS WEAPON ASCENSION MATERIALS 😂
Thrilling tales of dragon slayer ( catalyst ) ( Hp )
Debate club ( claymore ) ( Atk )
ESPECIALLY! The Dark iron sword ( sword ) ( EM )
also the rarest, only two in the game so far
Atleast 1 blacktassle R5 I guess
@@powerrr666 it's not as rare tho, so it's mostly fine... You can get them simply through gatcha and chests
White tassel's purely chest only and liyue specific too, after you 100% liyue, that's it 😂 no more white tassel
I suggest you pull for chasca next, she can fly or hu tao/ nuevillete for powerful dps
bro reads all the instructions properly and understood game mechanics right away, in this day and age??
to be honest with you have to use the (Genshin interactive map) it will help you a lot with farming anemoculus, chest, and a lot more
5:29 bro spam these ley line blossoms, you gat such good stuff and they are easy....... to an extent, it depends on whether it has a ruin guard
When you stand in bennetts ult circle, not only do you heal, but you deal more damage! Crazy good 4 star
im really excited for your playthrough, it's nice to see all your lively reactions to the plot and mechanics. so if you decided to spend money on the game, go ahead, but know that your audience will enjoy your content as is for many other reasons!
also, don't forget to take your stellar reunion rewards, the game tried to make you do so :')
This is also still completely unnecessary and your Diluc will be fine with f2p options.
absolutely loved ur reactions, keep it up dude
this video was so fun to watch! I hope you make more episodes! 🌟 i really like how you commment on the story too, keep it up!
when you were fighting the BIG hilichurl and there was a big water area right? that was caused by the samachurl (water samachurl) and the water area HEALS allies in the area which means you have to kill the samachurl first!!.
Oh and might as well teach you the wishing system 🫠
so when you wish a 10 pull you will be guaranteed to get 1+ four star and i think you already know that when the star turns purple its a four star and if its gold its a 5 star.
Small tip bro, you can release Lisa's charge attack once the sparks orbs starts to form, no need to hold it too long.
Really enjoy watching your playthrough so far! Hilarious & willing to read & notice the lore of this game. I find there's not a lot of Let's Players willing to dive deeper into this game. Also got me feeling nostalgic lol
There's a ton of hidden lore not just in the books you can collect but artifacts & item descriptions as well as in the World Quests. There are limited time event playthroughs you can watch (in the future) that also have interesting lore/foreshadowing. Really sucks new players can't experience it personally 😔
Artifacts will help you increase your damage & once you reach a certain AR level you'll be able to farm the domains. Each set is different but you can click & see recommendations based off other players. Some you can get just by beating bosses (which you'll need to "ascend" your characters!) And as long as your team is strong enough you can explore ALL of Teyvat rn (except Inazuma). Exploration is one of my favorite things to do

Erm, this early in the game, I advise you to NOT WISH ON THE WEAPON BANNER.
If you want to spend money, spend on limited banner not standard banner
i saw you got bennet and hes great with dulic. as when you stand in bennet`s burst you get healing and an attack boost which is great as that is what dulic scales off. im glad you`re enjoying the game and i hope you get nahida
Grats on Diluc! Really great early game carry to be your 'main' for quite a while ^^
