getting mona early game is awesome tbh, she's from mondstadt and it's easier to level her up. besides, she's great buffer of damage on her ult (later game, when you figure out parties for clearing challenges) and it's very easy to travel with her. Nahida is wonderful, but you'll struggle to level her up for a while as she's from sumeru. so cheer up! banners with limited character will always get a rerun in the future.

Nahida is fine even at level 1 (though her squishiness at lvl 1-20 can be annoying so leveling to her 40 and giving her a max level 4-5* Flower is recommended, just so she take a few hits if she gets caught out while applying her skill). All you need her for is applying her stupidly powerful dendro aura (which doesn't care about level). Her personal damage (which admittedly is quite high when built) is just a bonus, as she's not your primary trigger so her level really doesn't matter unless you care about her personal damage (i.e. you're dendro driving with her in a bloom team). Even at level one she enables completely broken teams due to her dendro application alone, and the EM share from her burst doesn't care who the EM is on (though you can build a ton of EM even without leveling her since all you miss is her Ascension bonus EM, so like 115 less EM you could have if she was at A6, though that set would be better on your main trigger until her level is caught up to be a trigger herself), just that someone in the party has a bunch of it. And you can even toss on Proto-Amber and take advantage of her spammable burst to get some healing on top of her dendro application (and give her even more HP to help avoid getting 1-2 tapped) (due to a lack of good craftable catalysts, it's basically worth using your first 5 billets for making an R5 PA since that turns every burst into an 18% of their Max HP heal to the whole party (and it uses the target's HP not the user's). (and if you happen to Neuvillete later...then his BIS F2P is already ready for him to use). tldr: Nahida is always worth it. Even if you don't want to detour to level her early.
one of the best parts of this game is that you can get sidetracked. In my opinion some of the best side quests in the game are found by getting curious about random stuff and interacting with them.
Just some tips for the questions or misunderstandings you had in this vid. First expeditions aren't actual quests you need to go on they are basically a free way to get materials over the periods of time listed which can be done with the characters you get from wishing, so you personally don't have to go get said materials. Second all characters can be viable in some way or another, even tho some characters are "better" than others in terms of gameplay, that doesn't mean other characters are totally useless, for example Xingqiu is probably one of if not the best options you can get for a hydro character, not for the pure damage he can do, but for the emence amount of support his abilities can do to help most dps characters, especially pyro dps's with happens to coincide with your choice of Diluc as your dps. Third, I'd say picking up anything you come across while exploring pick up, because in the long term, having more of any material is a plus, cuz in some way, shape or form, you most likely will have to use those materials to level up your characters and their "talents" (talents are what their skills are called and you can level them up to make your skills stronger) for early game players it's better to focus on leveling those up instead of artifacts since in earlier game it's hard to get genuine good artifacts for your characters, so slapping anything on them works (until you can level them up to at least 60-70 I would say artifacts don't need too much attention). Fourth, commissions are a daily thing. And such are the quickest/easiest way to get primogems, it's not alot, but it's the consistent way of obtaining them outside of quests which can take long to complete. Fifth, this isn't a helpers tip, but I just wanted to say your Genshin vids have been the highlight of my day each time they're uploaded, thank you for bringing me back to my older days of playing, it brings me so much nostalgia, and your humor just makes it all the better, so thank you once again Whiz🔥🔥🔥
Oh also. the tutorial screen gives you primogems by clicking through them all (one primogem per tutorial, and there are a bit for you to collect if ur looking for a few extra lol)
as an ar 60 player i really enjoy watching this series as there's nothing really to do once u complete every available endgame haha x also fun fact, you can use elemental sight next to those statues at 12:19 and there will be a hint as to where the seelie is hiding! also take your time and don't rush the game, it's really enjoyable when you aren't rushing gameplay, and good luck on ur pulls especially for nahida!
I find it very funny that Katheryn gave you expeditions, many of which give you ores, and you balked at the thought of needing to wait real-world hours to get them. You had also previously talked to Wagner, the blacksmith, but didn't bother doing his fetch quest to get ores because you were distracted by the main quest. Then when you actually need ores you were asking how you're supposed to get them. XD I'm not blaming you, I just find it very funny.

Dont let the community fool you! Diluc is VERY powerful in the early game! You just might find yourself wanting different characters as you continue to progress towards the later parts of the game. But the beauty of Genshin is playing in whatever way is fun to you! ❤ Its totally find to ditch your traveler for a character you're having lots of fun with! Though its alao not bad to level up your traveler too! You'll always be able to use your main character (despite what the community might say). Glad youre enjoying the game! Cant wait to see what other characters you enjoy later wnd what you think about the story!
the fun thing is, if you stick with diluc and build him, you can do some serious damage with his plunge, as he's the only character in the game with the highest plunge attack

By the force of spirit alone and not by adding to all material (as all of that is was already created and we cannot transform the physical like that). Knowing Hoyoverse, this phrase likely means both. We are adventures at the guild and we, the traveler have the W that rivals the W. :) As Hoyo said at Simulanka event, the whole story was told to us in Mondstat, at the beginning of our journey. We just didn't know. This phrase is likely part of that telling...
My advice is to pick up EVERYTHING. Also, even though you don't have to use MC, I'd keep him/her current. There are instances were you're only able to use him/her.

ayo you actually got some crazy pulls! mona is great because she's a buffer, xingqiu is a great hydro applicator which is also great for diluc and the 4* sword you got is the best sword for xingqiu. a team with diluc + bennett + mona + xingqiu would go CRAZY
little smol stuff i learned: you should prioritize leveling up the weapon first, then artifacts and then character level. The weapon of the character gives a lot of damage boost, more than leveling up the character! Also don't worry about not using the main character, just have fun with the characters you like.

expeditions are passive income of materials/money, they don't require your participation. back when the game started the character you have sent to expedition were locked out of the party, but hoyo quickly got rid of that inconvenient issue, so now you can use those characters nevertheless. 12:12 they are mysterious seelies 😊 you were one panel away from the correct definition. by the way, you can find them easier by clicking on elemental sight button while standing near their "homes". took me a lot of struggle not knowing this in early game.
You don't need to remember the names of reactions, just remember which element reacts with another one The most popular is Hydro with Dendro It creates small bombs around the field that explode over time Aditionally you can use Electro to redirect all this bombs to an enemy Optionally you can use Pyro to make all the bombs explode at once My personal favorite is using Hydro with Cryo to freeze enemies and then use Electro to cause an explosion that can hit nearby enemies Pyro and Electro works pretty good as well with explosive reactions I'm sorry you didn't get Nahida but trust me, Mona is a pretty good charecter too, her skill drops a funny decoy just like Amber (enemies will attack them instead of your charecters) and you can hold it to drop the decoy and dash backwards Her Elemental Burst can trap every single small enemy on range so you can reposition your charecter and then use another Elemental Burst And the best part is, Mona along with Ayaka are the only ones that turn themselves into their elements while running Mona transforms into water and of course can run on water But you have to be careful with distances cuz that's still running and consumes stamina, if you drain your bar before touching land your charecter will drown 😂

mona is good.. I started with her too. Also there are some really good 4-star charactrers you will be happy to have leveled up later on.. like xingqiu, bennett, xiangling and kuki they are very useful and you can make a lot of strong combinations with them... let someone give you advice so you won't regret it later... I did many mistakes and I had to level up some of these characters 2 years later :D

Heres aome tips you will want later in the game: over the course of the game you will get items called "fragile resin" do NOT spend it untill after the adventure rank 45 quest, also dont spread yourself too thin, pick 1-2 teams of characters you want, even if you dont have them and invest yout resources in them. You should also learn how all the elemental reactions work so you know what characters do and dont work together well, and dont feel rushed to pull for every character on the Banners as you dont want to pull a character you dont end up enjoying later down the line. Also at 74 pity on the banner every next pull increases the chance of getting a 5 star by 6.6 percent, this gets reser after obtaining a 5 star. Also when you get a 5 star theres a 50/50 chance you get the limited 5 star or a standard 5 star, after losing your 50/50 your next 5 star is guaranteed to be the one on the banner so keep in mind who you want, and who you REALLY want - an AR 58 player
Look on the bright side, if you don't manage to get Nahida, the next banner is Neuvillette. And i gotta say, Monsieur Neuvillette is one HECK of a DPS. He shreds enemies so fast that some people say his playstyle is boring. Because you just charge attack and kinda just... stand there and watch your enemies drown. (Edit: apologies~ got it mixed up, next is likely Chasca and Lyney. Neuvillette is hinted to be the one after that. During the lantern rite patch)

Mona is rlly good for early game cause she’s a hydro character that basically works with any team dynamic. You can stick her into rlly any team and she’ll do well.
Oh I forgot to mention that you only need Mona, Sucrose (with High Elemental Mastery) and Bennett then pair them up with basically any Pyro character with High Elemental Mastery to pull off said nuke and both Sucrose and Bennett are 4 stars and pretty much free
Man this hits hard, I just hit ar 60 today after 4 years of off and on, and here you are just starting out and getting lots of rewards. Also if you have any questions please ask, I would be glad to answer. Also, for early game spending and leveling, I recommend you only go up to lvl 40 at MOST on 3 star weapons and don’t really focus on leveling artifacts until you can get 4-star ones. Same with talents, you will naturally come across a lot of them in chests so don’t waste your resin in talent domains this early, same with artifact domains. Again, I recommend you watch Mistahfeet’s video for a guide
rip on my Mona, we’ve all been there 😢 but Xingqiu is actually super super good, and you even got the best sword for him, the sacrificial sword! Layla is also really good, she has a really strong shield, like noelle, but her shield has full uptime , whereas noelle’s shield doesn’t last as long as the cooldown for the skill is, so you’ll be unshielded for awhile. Keep saving up primos for nahida! this banner is so so good for new players, nahida is a game changer and xingqiu and kuki shinobu (the green haired 4* girl on the banner) are so so good!
another tip is : do not rush to increase your world level (you will be able to increase your world level when getting to certain adventure rank levels) the mobs will increase their level will drop higher rarity materials but the fights can get to tough if you rush the world level increase later on i would say max out your main dps as far as you can with your world level and adventure rank atleast before increasing the world level (when you are able to increase your world rank you cant level up your adventure rank but you will still collect and store the exp you earn in the meantimeand will level up the adventure rank as far as you can with the stored exp)
its so nice and refreshing to see you consider the books and the lore as important and doing it on camera! most people ignore them!!! also dont be sad you didnt get nahida - she gets a lot of reruns and mona is actually great for your diluc - she will apply hydro (water) and make him his higehr numbers with her Q / burst /special move. Her, kaeya, diluc and noelle are a GREAT team for early *and* late game if you play them right!
also diluc was wearing a mask because hes technically sneaking with you into the dungeon, as well as the traveller! so he wears a disguise! but in the story kaeya isnt there with you so he doesnt have a mask
Yeah i pretty much doubt the mc knows their real age, Remember? They got attacked by "The sustainer of heavenly principles" in the 1st cutscene, Then got sent to sleep, and lost all of their power. It's a possibility they could've been asleep for like 12 hours, But no, The mc is 100% over 500, BUT i won't get into that yet, as it will include spoilers. Unless you want me to, of course. The lore is somewhat simple, but complicated and lengthy at the same time. It's weird, but it has the best lore i've seen in any video game. Just know that you've pretty much seen 2%.

Yeah, Nahida's great. She's also one of the few characters whose level really doesn't matter in most of her party comps. You basically just need enough HP to not get one shot while putting up her skill/burst, since that's annoying to deal with, but you can leave her at 40 with a max level 4-5* flower, and that'll generally do her till you can get to Sumeru as part of story-progression (especially if you're using PA, that'll be about the same HP as a Lvl 70 character). The only thing her higher levels (well assuming you did her trial-run and got her materials and ascended to A1 which unlocks the EM share for her Burst) bring to a party is her personal damage. In most parties she is just there to apply Dendro to enemies with her skill and use her burst to share EM from the highest EM character with the rest of the party. And absolutely murder most hydro/electro shields (which works at any level since elemental application isn't based on level, it's a flat value tied to specific attacks). Her personal damage is more of icing on the cake. And yes her burst is extremely spammable. If you happen to have a R5 Proto-type Amber, she can actually make a decent spot healer, since R5 PA refunds 18 energy to user AND heals the ENTIRE PARTY for 18% of their Max HP every time you use your burst, if you want use her burst on cooldown (though to be honest, that is probably overkill, just using it every once in awhile to keep the Shrine active will keep the party topped up enough to allow you completely forego bringing a dedicated healer for some parties for only a minor sacrifice of personal damage). My Nahida usually has it since she has 1k+ EM even without EM weapon, so unless I'm using her as an actual reaction driver, that's typically what she's got as it's just nice to have a full party heal activating regularly to keep everyone topped up from the scratch damage they gradually take from burning grass and getting grazed while they're doing a skill, which does add up over time unless you detour to a statue to heal periodically or use food.
Xingqui is one of the best support characters in the game especially because of his really good hydro application and he can also be used as and a sub dps and he is good in reaction teams such as vaporize team so i'd recommend building him and using him with diluc
another tip is to prio your weapon on the character since the atk main stat of the weapon will give your character the most dps increase especially without good artifacts :)) for example bennet his atk buff that scales with his base atk wont be stronger with atk stats from artifacts since they are not base stats but the atk main stat from his weapon will increase his base atk and therefor will increase the atk buff he will give
hey btw the blue floating things that move to the little statues are called seelies, also you can get more primos if you do the stellar reunion thing at the top of your screen
Xinqiu is literally top 3 BEST 4 star! When he uses his ult he applies hydro damage off field, it is really perfect with your Diluc ^•^ because it will trigger the vaporization. You can put Kaeya in the party too so it will trigger vaporization AND melt, those 2 will multiply your damage AND the hydro and cryo froze the enemies 🎉 \o/🎉
um , quick tip , afew adventure rank's later and in battlepass u will get something called "fragile resin" its like to replenish resin fast , dont use it at all , ur going to need as much of it at ar 45 for artifacts ( at ar 45 u can get 2 5 star artifacts per domain ) the 5 star artifacts make a big difference in character dmg

18:01 hey there! Actually you're not gonna have to do any expeditions, just put a character out there (preferably the ones with bonus!) for the longest hours for more rewards, then come claim them daily, without actually farming them yourself. Keep it up!
Getting a standard 5 star character early is kinda lucky tho cos now u are already guaranteed to get nahida. Some unlucky players like me had to wish 80-90 times just to lose the 50/50.
Love your vids bro, here's a cool tip, you can change the traveler's element by touching the Statues of the Seven of other nations highly reccomend finding a statue on sumeru, cuz Dendro traveler is mad powerful
Mona will be very useful to you, you can play her with Diluc for vapes. Also all her materials are in Mondstadt and it will be easy to level her up. I still play with her even in ar60, she is a very good! character.
yeah she's a furina alternative, though outside of freeze her up-time is significantly worse, though in freeze, she's actually pretty close, though Furina's hydro application is better unless you're on-fielding mona (though you don't need much hydro to keep Freeze going so it works even if her skill is your main source of hydro application).
Idk if anyone mentioned it already it’s generally not recommended to pull on the weapon banner. Especially since you mentioned you wanted a weapon for Diluc-if you are gonna spend $ you’re better off getting the battle pass ($10 every patch or so?) and getting the serpent spine. Technically they recently made the weapon banner more forgiving than previously but it’s still completely unnecessary especially as a brand new player. The two limited weapons are meant for the two limited characters right now so there’s zero guarantee you’ll get a claymore. Don’t feel pressure to spend, that’s how the game will get you haha. You will earn lots of primos as you play the game. I mean play as you like but just don’t think you need to spend money to enjoy it! Idk what pity you were at but getting Mona is good! And you also got Layla who is the second best shielder in the whole game. If you continue to wish on Nahidas banner your next 5* is guaranteed to be Nahida herself. Edit: OMG you got xingqiu and his best in slot sword right after another!!!! You’re already winning at the game, Kingqiu is one of the best characters in the whole game I’m glad you’re enjoying it and as others have mentioned we love you read the content haha. A lot of people don’t, which is fine too, but your experience will be greatly enhanced. The 1000hr is like if you were to try to accomplish everything 100% but the main story is still a considerable chunk of time. Just to give context in case you feel daunted by the amount.
Every time u lose the 5050 next time u get a 5star is guaranteed to be the banner character also they added smt a bit complicated: The banners will record ur loses if u lose 1 time and get ur guaranteed the next 5050 is actually 55/45 if u lose then, u get ur guaranteed and then the chances of winning is 75/25 and if u somehow lose then, after the guaranteed u are guaranteed again, if u win on an un guaranteed ot starts counting from 0 loses
ey bro thats cruel XD XD XD, oh yeah some of the daily mission kinda have continuation story or have multiple choice. and its rare. if i remember timmy daily quest have 3 or 4 quest in total that continue if u choose to kill the ducck, but if u choode normal and dont kill them. it only 1 part thats it . and the last part maybe make you regret your action toward timmy XD. yooo you're already adept so well in game mechanic bro. thats kaeya and diluc combo just *cheffkiss . and if u got cr+cdmg in 1 artifact , thats crack bro ngl. nahida is more crack if u apply her reaction with hydro first , dendro+hydro will create a seed bomb. and these seed can detonated by pyro or electro. and it will have different result. detonated with pyro, the seed will explode with huge AoE dendro damage in location. if detonated with electro the seed will become projectile missile that deal dendro damage and auto tracking the enemies, really good to defeat annoying flying enemies. her ult buff her linked dmg base on what party u have. if u have pyro it will up the linked dmg. if u have electro it shorten the interval of the linked dmg to happen (2 sec interval by default). if u have hydro it prolonged the duration of her ult. anyway i hhope ur camera is fixed man.
You shouldn't be too disappointed to not get the new characters since you won't be able to get the materials to level them properly anyway at this stage of the game
yeah, but Nahida does her job regardless of her level (you basically just need enough HP to not get 1-shot when you're popping out to use her skill/burst, and lvl 40 + a high level flower is typically plenty for that). Since in most teams, she's not the primary reaction trigger, so her level really just means her persona damage contribution, which while pretty good when built, is still only a fraction of the full team damage that she is enabling. And you can give her support-catalysts since her damage isn't important away when under-leveled, like Thrilling Tales for a Quicken Team or Prototype Amber for some form of bloom-based team to provide some full-party spot-healing (thanks to her spammable burst, she uses PA's healing function quite well, especially if R5).

one of the best parts of this game is that you can get sidetracked. In my opinion some of the best side quests in the game are found by getting curious about random stuff and interacting with them.

Just some tips for the questions or misunderstandings you had in this vid.
First expeditions aren't actual quests you need to go on they are basically a free way to get materials over the periods of time listed which can be done with the characters you get from wishing, so you personally don't have to go get said materials.
Second all characters can be viable in some way or another, even tho some characters are "better" than others in terms of gameplay, that doesn't mean other characters are totally useless, for example Xingqiu is probably one of if not the best options you can get for a hydro character, not for the pure damage he can do, but for the emence amount of support his abilities can do to help most dps characters, especially pyro dps's with happens to coincide with your choice of Diluc as your dps.
Third, I'd say picking up anything you come across while exploring pick up, because in the long term, having more of any material is a plus, cuz in some way, shape or form, you most likely will have to use those materials to level up your characters and their "talents" (talents are what their skills are called and you can level them up to make your skills stronger) for early game players it's better to focus on leveling those up instead of artifacts since in earlier game it's hard to get genuine good artifacts for your characters, so slapping anything on them works (until you can level them up to at least 60-70 I would say artifacts don't need too much attention).
Fourth, commissions are a daily thing. And such are the quickest/easiest way to get primogems, it's not alot, but it's the consistent way of obtaining them outside of quests which can take long to complete.
Fifth, this isn't a helpers tip, but I just wanted to say your Genshin vids have been the highlight of my day each time they're uploaded, thank you for bringing me back to my older days of playing, it brings me so much nostalgia, and your humor just makes it all the better, so thank you once again Whiz🔥🔥🔥
Oh also. the tutorial screen gives you primogems by clicking through them all (one primogem per tutorial, and there are a bit for you to collect if ur looking for a few extra lol)

I find it very funny that Katheryn gave you expeditions, many of which give you ores, and you balked at the thought of needing to wait real-world hours to get them. You had also previously talked to Wagner, the blacksmith, but didn't bother doing his fetch quest to get ores because you were distracted by the main quest. Then when you actually need ores you were asking how you're supposed to get them. XD I'm not blaming you, I just find it very funny.

Dont let the community fool you! Diluc is VERY powerful in the early game! You just might find yourself wanting different characters as you continue to progress towards the later parts of the game. But the beauty of Genshin is playing in whatever way is fun to you! ❤ Its totally find to ditch your traveler for a character you're having lots of fun with! Though its alao not bad to level up your traveler too! You'll always be able to use your main character (despite what the community might say). Glad youre enjoying the game! ayo you actually got some crazy pulls! mona is great because she's a buffer, xingqiu is a great hydro applicator which is also great for diluc and the 4* sword you got is the best sword for xingqiu. a team with diluc + bennett + mona + xingqiu would go CRAZY
little smol stuff i learned: you should prioritize leveling up the weapon first, then artifacts and then character level. The weapon of the character gives a lot of damage boost, more than leveling up the character! Also don't worry about not using the main character, just have fun with the characters you like.

expeditions are passive income of materials/money, they don't require your participation. back when the game started the character you have sent to expedition were locked out of the party, but hoyo quickly got rid of that inconvenient issue, so now you can use those characters nevertheless.

You don't need to remember the names of reactions, just remember which element reacts with another one
The most popular is Hydro with Dendro
It creates small bombs around the field that explode over time
Aditionally you can use Electro to redirect all this bombs to an enemy
Optionally you can use Pyro to make all the bombs explode at once
My personal favorite is using Hydro with Cryo to freeze enemies and then use Electro to cause an explosion that can hit nearby enemies
Pyro and Electro works pretty good as well with explosive reactions
I'm sorry you didn't get Nahida but trust me, Mona is a pretty good charecter too, her skill drops a funny decoy just like Amber (enemies will attack them instead of your charecters) and you can hold it to drop the decoy and dash backwards
Her Elemental Burst can trap every single small enemy on range so you can reposition your charecter and then use another Elemental Burst
And the best part is, Mona along with Ayaka are the only ones that turn themselves into their elements while running
Mona transforms into water and of course can run on water
But you have to be careful with distances cuz that's still running and consumes stamina, if you drain your bar before touching land your charecter will drown 😂
Noelle can heal the whole party a bit while you're attacking with her with shield up, btw!

I did many mistakes and I had to level up some of these characters 2 years later :D

Heres aome tips you will want later in the game: over the course of the game you will get items called "fragile resin" do NOT spend it untill after the adventure rank 45 quest, also dont spread yourself too thin, pick 1-2 teams of characters you want, even if you dont have them and invest yout resources in them. You should also learn how all the elemental reactions work so you know what characters do and dont work together well, and dont feel rushed to pull for every character on the Banners as you dont want to pull a character you dont end up enjoying later down the line. Also at 74 pity on the banner every next pull increases the chance of getting a 5 star by 6.6 percent, this gets reser after obtaining a 5 star. Also when you get a 5 star theres a 50/50 chance you get the limited 5 star or a standard 5 star, after losing your 50/50 your next 5 star is guaranteed to be the one on the banner so keep in mind who you want, and who you REALLY want - an AR 58 player

Look on the bright side, if you don't manage to get Nahida, the next banner is Neuvillette. And i gotta say, Monsieur Neuvillette is one HECK of a DPS. He shreds enemies so fast that some people say his playstyle is boring. Because you just charge attack and kinda just... stand there and watch your enemies drown.

Mona is rlly good for early game cause she’s a hydro character that basically works with any team dynamic. You can stick her into rlly any team and she’ll do well.
Not just early game. Mona is generally viable in most content since with enough set up she can help you just nuke everything
Oh I forgot to mention that you only need Mona, Sucrose (with High Elemental Mastery) and Bennett then pair them up with basically any Pyro character with High Elemental Mastery to pull off said nuke and both Sucrose and Bennett are 4 stars and pretty much free

Man this hits hard, I just hit ar 60 today after 4 years of off and on, and here you are just starting out and getting lots of rewards. Also if you have any questions please ask, I would be glad to answer. Also, for early game spending and leveling, I recommend you only go up to lvl 40 at MOST on 3 star weapons and don’t really focus on leveling artifacts until you can get 4-star ones. Same with talents, you will naturally come across a lot of them in chests so don’t waste your resin in talent domains this early, same with artifact domains. Again, I recommend you watch Mistahfeet’s video for a guide
rip on my Mona, we’ve all been there 😢 but Xingqiu is actually super super good, and you even got the best sword for him, the sacrificial sword! Layla is also really good, she has a really strong shield, like noelle, but her shield has full uptime , whereas noelle’s shield doesn’t last as long as the cooldown for the skill is, so you’ll be unshielded for awhile. Keep saving up primos for nahida! this banner is so so good for new players, nahida is a game changer and xingqiu and kuki shinobu (the green haired 4* girl on the banner) are so so good!

another tip is : do not rush to increase your world level (you will be able to increase your world level when getting to certain adventure rank levels) the mobs will increase their level will drop higher rarity materials but the fights can get to tough if you rush the world level increase later on
i would say max out your main dps as far as you can with your world level and adventure rank atleast before increasing the world level (when you are able to increase your world rank you cant level up your adventure rank but you will still collect and store the exp you earn in the meantimeand will level up the adventure rank as far as you can with the stored exp)
its so nice and refreshing to see you consider the books and the lore as important and doing it on camera! most people ignore them!!! also dont be sad you didnt get nahida - she gets a lot of reruns and mona is actually great for your diluc - she will apply hydro (water) and make him his higehr numbers with her Q / burst /special move. Her, kaeya, diluc and noelle are a GREAT team for early *and* late game if you play them right!
also diluc was wearing a mask because hes technically sneaking with you into the dungeon, as well as the traveller! so he wears a disguise! but in the story kaeya isnt there with you so he doesnt have a mask

Yeah i pretty much doubt the mc knows their real age, Remember? They got attacked by "The sustainer of heavenly principles" in the 1st cutscene, Then got sent to sleep, and lost all of their power. It's a possibility they could've been asleep for like 12 hours, But no, The mc is 100% over 500, BUT i won't get into that yet, as it will include spoilers. Unless you want me to, of course. The lore is somewhat simple, but complicated and lengthy at the same time. It's weird, but it has the best lore i've seen in any video game. Just know that you've pretty much seen 2%.

Yeah, Nahida's great.
She's also one of the few characters whose level really doesn't matter in most of her party comps. You basically just need enough HP to not get one shot while putting up her skill/burst, since that's annoying to deal with, but you can leave her at 40 with a max level 4-5* flower, and that'll generally do her till you can get to Sumeru as part of story-progression (especially if you're using PA, that'll be about the same HP as a Lvl 70 character).
The only thing her higher levels (well assuming you did her trial-run and got her materials and ascended to A1 which unlocks the EM share for her Burst) bring to a party is her personal damage.
In most parties she is just there to apply Dendro to enemies with her skill and use her burst to share EM from the highest EM character with the rest of the party. And absolutely murder most hydro/electro shields (which works at any level since elemental application isn't based on level, it's a flat value tied to specific attacks). Her personal damage is more of icing on the cake.
And yes her burst is extremely spammable.
If you happen to have a R5 Proto-type Amber, she can actually make a decent spot healer, since R5 PA refunds 18 energy to user AND heals the ENTIRE PARTY for 18% of their Max HP every time you use your burst, if you want use her burst on cooldown (though to be honest, that is probably overkill, just using it every once in awhile to keep the Shrine active will keep the party topped up enough to allow you completely forego bringing a dedicated healer for some parties for only a minor sacrifice of personal damage).
My Nahida usually has it since she has 1k+ EM even without EM weapon, so unless I'm using her as an actual reaction driver, that's typically what she's got as it's just nice to have a full party heal activating regularly to keep everyone topped up from the scratch damage they gradually take from burning grass and getting grazed while they're doing a skill, which does add up over time unless you detour to a statue to heal periodically or use food.
Xingqui is one of the best support characters in the game especially because of his really good hydro application and he can also be used as and a sub dps and he is good in reaction teams such as vaporize team so i'd recommend building him and using him with diluc
another tip is to prio your weapon on the character since the atk main stat of the weapon will give your character the most dps increase especially without good artifacts :))
for example bennet his atk buff that scales with his base atk wont be stronger with atk stats from artifacts since they are not base stats but the atk main stat from his weapon will increase his base atk and therefor will increase the atk buff he will give
hey btw the blue floating things that move to the little statues are called seelies, also you can get more primos if you do the stellar reunion thing at the top of your screen
Xinqiu is literally top 3 BEST 4 star!
When he uses his ult he applies hydro damage off field, it is really perfect with your Diluc ^•^ because it will trigger the vaporization.
You can put Kaeya in the party too so it will trigger vaporization AND melt, those 2 will multiply your damage AND the hydro and cryo froze the enemies

um , quick tip , afew adventure rank's later and in battlepass u will get something called "fragile resin" its like to replenish resin fast , dont use it at all , ur going to need as much of it at ar 45 for artifacts ( at ar 45 u can get 2 5 star artifacts per domain ) the 5 star artifacts make a big difference in character dmg

Mona will be very useful to you, you can play her with Diluc for vapes. Also all her materials are in Mondstadt and it will be easy to level her up. I still play with her even in ar60, she is a very good! character.
yeah she's a furina alternative, though outside of freeze her up-time is significantly worse, though in freeze, she's actually pretty close, though Furina's hydro application is better unless you're on-fielding mona (though you don't need much hydro to keep Freeze going so it works even if her skill is your main source of hydro application).
Idk if anyone mentioned it already it’s generally not recommended to pull on the weapon banner. Especially since you mentioned you wanted a weapon for Diluc-if you are gonna spend $ you’re better off getting the battle pass ($10 every patch or so?) and getting the serpent spine. Technically they recently made the weapon banner more forgiving than previously but it’s still completely unnecessary especially as a brand new player. The two limited weapons are meant for the two limited characters right now so there’s zero guarantee you’ll get a claymore.
Don’t feel pressure to spend, that’s how the game will get you haha. You will earn lots of primos as you play the game. I mean play as you like but just don’t think you need to spend money to enjoy it!
Idk what pity you were at but getting Mona is good! And you also got Layla who is the second best shielder in the whole game. If you continue to wish on Nahidas banner your next 5* is guaranteed to be Nahida herself. Edit: OMG you got xingqiu and his best in slot sword right after another!!!! You’re already winning at the game, Kingqiu is one of the best characters in the whole game

The 1000hr is like if you were to try to accomplish everything 100% but the main story is still a considerable chunk of time. Just to give context in case you feel daunted by the amount.

The banners will record ur loses if u lose 1 time and get ur guaranteed the next 5050 is actually 55/45 if u lose then, u get ur guaranteed and then the chances of winning is 75/25 and if u somehow lose then, after the guaranteed u are guaranteed again, if u win on an un guaranteed ot starts counting from 0 loses

nahida is more crack if u apply her reaction with hydro first , dendro+hydro will create a seed bomb. and these seed can detonated by pyro or electro. and it will have different result. detonated with pyro, the seed will explode with huge AoE dendro damage in location. if detonated with electro the seed will become projectile missile that deal dendro damage and auto tracking the enemies, really good to defeat annoying flying enemies.
her ult buff her linked dmg base on what party u have. if u have pyro it will up the linked dmg. if u have electro it shorten the interval of the linked dmg to happen (2 sec interval by default). if u have hydro it prolonged the duration of her ult.
anyway i hhope ur camera is fixed man.

You shouldn't be too disappointed to not get the new characters since you won't be able to get the materials to level them properly anyway at this stage of the game
yeah, but Nahida does her job regardless of her level (you basically just need enough HP to not get 1-shot when you're popping out to use her skill/burst, and lvl 40 + a high level flower is typically plenty for that). Since in most teams, she's not the primary reaction trigger, so her level really just means her persona damage contribution, which while pretty good when built, is still only a fraction of the full team damage that she is enabling.
And you can give her support-catalysts since her damage isn't important away when under-leveled, like Thrilling Tales for a Quicken Team or Prototype Amber for some form of bloom-based team to provide some full-party spot-healing (thanks to her spammable burst, she uses PA's healing function quite well, especially if R5).
