For future reference: don't look up the ages of characters The answers you get will often neither be canon nor make sense. Because for some reason these people think every short person is a teen (and as a short person I resent that). The Traveler twins (the MC) are both interdimensional beings of unknown ages, who visited countless worlds and witnessed stars be born and die. They also canonically don't age. Make your own conclusion as to how old you think they are
Their age is unconfirmed, but the traveler did say he was 500+ years old, when he was trapped in the world, and his sister was in khanrea 500 years ago

No way bro, never imagined this day would come. Whiz Some notes: The first arc of the game is a little slow but it gets better as you go on like wayyy better. Don't pull on weapon gacha unless you have the primos to spare(which will be never) So really just pull on the character banner. The twins names are Aether and Lumine, you chose Aether also they both are hundreds of years old and one thing in this game is sometimes looks are decieving. (Haven't watched the full video yet so I'll edit if I need to) Also if you decide to Really play this game just now it gets good, the lore is crazy, the characters are crazy, the cutscenes get better and better.
Hiya, so I've been playing genshin for around ~3 years, so my tips are: 1: lock all purple weapons, and blue weapons, they may seem useless but can be very good for certain characters. 2: do all the starter domains to get the two other starter characters (lisa, kaeya) 3: classes dont matter, each character can be good in their own way. For instance: mages. You day that doesnt fit your style, you can think that, but some of then deal really good damage. Like lisa. (She will be even better if you put the widsith on her) 4: elemental reactions are going to carry you through early game. For instance swirl (wind plus fire, wind plus hydro). Some elements dont mix, but most do. A good way to use swirl is using Amber's ultimate, than the main characters skill or ultimate. 5: wish on begginer banner. Standard banner (the one you pulled on can give characters, and weapons, but begginner banner gives you noelle, she is a shoulder and is very good early game.) 6: you dont have to spend money on the game to get good. It only speeds up the process. 7: have fun, and if you need anything just ask me some questions!

Advice from someone playing this daily for 4y: 1. Only use primos on character banners, never the standard. Limited characters are always better than dtandard ones and you have a chance to get standard anyways on the limited. 2. The game gacha aspect has a pity system. Even 1 wish or "pull" will increase your chances slightly. At pull 90 you are guaranteed a 5*. 3. When you pull a 5* you have something called a 50/50. That means you have a 50% chance to be the featured character (in this video's case Navia) and a 50% chance of any of the standard 5*. 4. If you pull for lets say Navia but you get Jean, that is called losing the 50/50. After you lose the 50/50 you then have a guarantee that your next 5* is the limited one and it carries over banners. For example if after Navia comes Xiao, and you lost the 50/50 on Navia's banner, if you the 5* on Xiao's banner it will be 100% him. After you use the guarantee you go back to the 50/50 and the process repeats. 5. You absolutely do not need to spend a dime. The game is fully completeable f2p, there is no content gated behind money at all. 6. Any character can be useful and you also have a test run for every currently active banner if you open the events section. There you can try out the character to see if you like them before pulling. 7. Eventually you will get an item called Fragile Resin. Its shaped like a crescent moon. That is best saved for Adventure Rank 45 and after for artifact farming. Artifacts is where the majority of your power comes from and after AR45 you are guaranteed at least one 5* artifact per run, so save those for then as their whole purpose is to restore your resin. 8. Take your time and do not rush, enjoy the game along the way.

That first search results was just plain misinformation. As unsatisfying as it is, almost all playable characters no confirmed age. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that our main character is older than they look. They're not 16 despite what other characters depict them to be.
Its not really.. Welll i guess it kinda is Isekai.. But the universe is huge. All their games are connected at a fundimental point. genshin is one planet among many in the universe/multiverse we know as the imaginary tree. And there are many connections between the differient games of Hoyoverse. I personally dont play genshin. I play Honkai star rail and Honkai impact 3rd. The HOnkai star rail scales the huge universe. And goes from world to world. And Honkai impact 3rd after finishing part 1 of the main story after 8 years.. Is planning to expand into the outer universe beyond the solar system. And genshin have hits of expanding outside the world. But ittl be far in the future. The games are all planned yearssss ahead.

Ingame info tells us they have seen birth and deaths of stars so they are definitely billions of years old... but they could also be suspended in time like you wont age if you travelled at the speed of light .. in that sense. so we shall never know... at least 500+ to at most billions of years old

I've played Genshin for like 2 years now so I wanted to share some tips :DD 1. The way your dmg scales off is from your Character level, weapon, weapon level, talents levels and Artifacts. I recommend using priority Char level > Weapons > Talents > Artifacts. You won't unlock talents until at least a few hours into the game, and you can not focus too heavy on artifacts until at least Ar 45 (Which is when you unlock most of the domains to get artifacts). Just use the ones with highest Atk or Em/Er, don't worry about crit stats for now esp so early in the game 2. You'd wanna focus on reactions in doing dmg, swirl (literally anything mixed with wind/anemo) can be an easy source of heavy dmg early on. 3. If you see ANYTHING you can collect, COLLECT IT. You're guaranteed going to need it in the future sooner or later and you wont' regret getting them early. All materials respawn so don't worry about running out :DD 4. ENJOY THE GAME!! Don't worry about meta or characters cause Genshin has VERY little powercreep problems, use anyone and anything you want! If it works it works lmao Excited to watch more of your playthroughs in the future ^^

about the wishing system: primogems can be acquired for free by doing things like events, exploring, quests and other things that come later. a wish is 160 primogems. after 90 wishes (although 75-80 is more likely), you’re guaranteed to get a 5* character, but for the first one, there’s a 45% chance you’ll get. a standard 5* who you can obtain forever, so that kinda sucks. there’s also a 55% chance of getting the limited character though. if you do lose and get a standard character, your next 5* on a limited banner will be the one you want, though!! when you get a limited character, the odds reset though. guarantee is only if you previously got a standard 5*

If you get a headshot with bow characters (archer), they will get a guaranteed crit, which is basically more big pp damage Normally characters can crit based on their crit rate (you can make it higher using artifacts or weapons but its not your priority for your level right now)

04:10 Actually those ages you saw on Google were for Chongun and Collei.....they are different characters from the two at the start. The MC's are know as Lumine and Aether and they are more than 500 years old
For wishing: blue is three stars, thrilling tales is a great three star book for support, and harbinger of dawn is good for main damage dealers or off field damage dealers. Purples are four stars: some four star weapons like the flute and the bell are trash. There are other many good stuff though! There is the book you got, the Widsith, and it’s really good! Other good ones are the favonious weapons. Those and sacrificial weapons are really good. Fours star characters, like Bennett, Xiangling, and xingqui are some of the most terrifying four stars that are counted more towards five stars. But others like Mika.. Gold: most five stars are pretty good. Limited ones are supposedly the best like Yelan. But there’s nothing wrong with standard five star characters! The worst one is Qiqi, the best is named Tighnari! For weapons, that’s not really important for young Adventure Rank players. Maybe not at all! But you’ll get them eventually. That first search results was just plain misinformation. As unsatisfying as it is, almost all playable characters no confirmed age.
I don't think it's a spoiler to say that our main character is older than they look. They're not 16 despite what other characters depict them to be.

genshin is one planet among many in the universe/multiverse we know as the imaginary tree.
And there are many connections between the differient games of Hoyoverse.
I personally dont play genshin.
I play Honkai star rail and Honkai impact 3rd.
The HOnkai star rail scales the huge universe. And goes from world to world.
And Honkai impact 3rd after finishing part 1 of the main story after 8 years.. Is planning to expand into the outer universe beyond the solar system.
And genshin have hits of expanding outside the world.
But ittl be far in the future.
The games are all planned yearssss ahead.

Ingame info tells us they have seen birth and deaths of stars so they are definitely billions of years old... but they could also be suspended in time like you wont age if you travelled at the speed of light .. in that sense. so we shall never know...

I LOVE watching new players play the game!! Already loving your attitude and editing style lmfao also that work ethic??? Alr working on episode 2??? Crazy. I've played Genshin for like 2 years now so I wanted to share some tips :DD
1. The way your dmg scales off is from your Character level, weapon, weapon level, talents levels and Artifacts. I recommend using priority Char level > Weapons > Talents > Artifacts. You won't unlock talents until at least a few hours into the game, and you can not focus too heavy on artifacts until at least Ar 45 (Which is when you unlock most of the domains to get artifacts). Just use the ones with highest Atk or Em/Er, don't worry about crit stats for now esp so early in the game
2. You'd wanna focus on reactions in doing dmg, swirl (literally anything mixed with wind/anemo) can be an easy source of heavy dmg early on.
3. If you see ANYTHING you can collect, COLLECT IT. You're guaranteed going to need it in the future sooner or later and you wont' regret getting them early. All materials respawn so don't worry about running out :DD
4. ENJOY THE GAME!! Don't worry about meta or characters cause Genshin has VERY little powercreep problems, use anyone and anything you want! If it works it works lmao

about the wishing system:
primogems can be acquired for free by doing things like events, exploring, quests and other things that come later. a wish is 160 primogems. after 90 wishes (although 75-80 is more likely), you’re guaranteed to get a 5* character, but for the first one, there’s a 45% chance you’ll get. a standard 5* who you can obtain forever, so that kinda sucks. there’s also a 55% chance of getting the limited character though. if you do lose and get a standard character, your next 5* on a limited banner will be the one you want, though!! when you get a limited character, the odds reset though. guarantee is only if you previously got a standard 5*

If you get a headshot with bow characters (archer), they will get a guaranteed crit, which is basically more big pp damage Normally characters can crit based on their crit rate (you can make it higher using artifacts or weapons but its not your priority for your level right now)

Actually those ages you saw on Google were for Chongun and Collei.....they are different characters from the two at the start. The MC's are know as Lumine and Aether and they are more than 500 years old

For wishing: blue is three stars, thrilling tales is a great three star book for support, and harbinger of dawn is good for main damage dealers or off field damage dealers.
Purples are four stars: some four star weapons like the flute and the bell are trash. There are other many good stuff though! There is the book you got, the Widsith, and it’s really good! Other good ones are the favonious weapons. Those and sacrificial weapons are really good. Fours star characters, like Bennett, Xiangling, and xingqui are some of the most terrifying four stars that are counted more towards five stars. But others like Mika..
Gold: most five stars are pretty good. Limited ones are supposedly the best like Yelan. But there’s nothing wrong with standard five star characters! The worst one is Qiqi, the best is named Tighnari! For weapons, that’s not really important for young Adventure Rank players. Maybe not at all! But you’ll get them eventually.
