Recién compre el módulo por Amazon, parece ser un buen producto, el 20/02/22 Me llego a Guerrero, Mexico. Espero puedan hacer contenido en el idioma Español. Son una buena empresa.
Hi Bill it's amazing to have people like yourself still interested in improving 14 year old products. I need the upgraded EKPM3 I'm in Canada and it's not on Canadian Amazon where can I purchase your EKPM3?
Hi Dave, unfortunately all EKPM modules require coding, even modules from the dealer. The modules do have default code in them so the car will run without coding but not properly. The vehicle specific parameters need to be loaded for the EKPM to run with proper performance. Coding the EKPM is very easy to do. Here is a video that shows how to do it using Protool: drive.google.com/file/d/1gAblp8WpRiNlesGiEy_VpcZ9J0ZzaTd4/view?usp=sharing
@@geo335st I have it installed and protool doesn’t recognize it. Anyone having trouble similar? I can’t code it and car won’t start. I need help if anyone has input.
@@bigslide9660 I had the same issue. Do you have the option to do the voltage fix? Also pull the fuel pump assembly and make sure all the hoses are connected. My hose popped off. You can check this in protool as well in the live data if you are not getting enough fuel pressure on your low side.
Will this work with a 335diesel as well? I tried a Walbro 535 pump in the tank but cannot have it work properly. With Protool voltage fix it works alright for a few days but the EKPM3 module slows the pump down too much where it will stall. On original coding it’ll throw a fault code immediately and the pump will run only full power.
If you're going to run dual Walbro 450's then I recommend you use the Stage 4 module. www.amazon.com/Control-Module-active-cooling-upgrades/dp/B0CGY27547/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=V3vaP&content-id=amzn1.sym.d0ebfbb2-6761-494f-8e2f-95743b37c35c%3Aamzn1.symc.50e00d6c-ec8b-42ef-bb15-298531ab4497&pf_rd_p=d0ebfbb2-6761-494f-8e2f-95743b37c35c&pf_rd_r=9P6SZWEEVV5NEXZ3MAY4&pd_rd_wg=EQaCJ&pd_rd_r=1dfdd897-decd-4f47-a97e-d97adcc0563f&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m&th=1
To purchase the correct Stage 2 EKPM3 use the Amazon Fitment tool located above the module description and photo. Enter your vehicle information and check the results. If not compatible, click on the link to the other EKPM3 model available and check with the amazon fitment tool.

What did you use to Code? My Mechanic is having trouble coding it, because ProTools won’t recognize it and neither will his snap on.

Can this module cause your radiator fan to kick into a high speed when faulty or malfunctioning?
Can I code this with Protool after install?
Yes I did mine with protool. My car was a 2008 e93 335i with his stage 2 ekpm
@@1769star Did you do the voltage fix in protool as well?
@@geo335st you don't need too, there's a discreet modification that reports half the power use to the dme so the ekp takes 40amp to trigger an error
