Richard Blum: Artificial Intelligence & Meher Baba's New Humanity

We are currently witnessing a revolution in A.I. Might it serve as a catalyst that will help transform society and bring about the New Humanity as foretold by Meher Baba? Could A.I. relieve humanity from the constant use of the intellect required to survive in our highly technological world, and allow individuals to undergo the transformation from reason to intuition, a transformation that Baba said would be a landmark of His advent.
When describing the New Humanity Baba said, “All-sided progress of humanity can be assured only if science and religion proceed hand in hand.” Richard will present the basic principles of A.I., explain why it is different from all prior forms of computer software, and the potential challenges which its capabilities will force humanity to face. He will also speculate on how A.I., combined with other emerging technologies, might even aid individuals’ spiritual development.
