What are the differences between gen 1 bodies and gen 2?
Gen 1 has wider red squares on the torso and only 8 of them with only one square Above the top button like in the movies. Gen 2 has 9 squares and two above the top button which is not movie accurate.
Gen 1’s belt and waist area is rounder, smaller and more movie accurate while gen 2 is much more sqaured off.
Gen 1 uses a thick white foam to encase the midsection armature and help keep woody firm and in a certain shape.
Gen 2 does not have this foam insert, it’s only light stuffing and thus he feels in need of additional stuffing in the torso.
Gen 1 woody has tightly packed stuffing in all the limbs which looks really puffy and movie accurate while gen 2 has no stuffing in the arms or legs. Gen 2 instead has black foam sleeves in all limbs which make all his limbs looks very flat or deflated.
Definitely a lot of cost cutting measures went in place when they came out with gen 2.
They should have just kept the quality and charged more to be honest.

I actually just bought the woody kit and buzz kit from seed toys a few days ago 😎 was told they will ship on the 18th. I’m excited!!
