  • How to make a Matcha latte!
    The three pillars of a perfect Matcha latte are:
    1- Excellent quality ceremonial grade Matcha.
    DO NOT USE CULINARY MATCHA in beverages. A very common mistake, and a reason why many never wish to try Matcha latte again, is using lower quality or culinary Matcha. (Visit matchakonomi.com/blogs/news/h... for more details on how to identify excellent quality Matcha)
    2- Unsweetened non-dairy milk.
    We typically use unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk. Be aware that most almond milk labeled "original" are sweetened. We prefer unsweetened so we control the amount of sugar going into our drink.
    3- The right spice.
    At Matcha Konomi, we use our own blend of Chai Spice

    Directions:
    - In a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon ceremonial Matcha powder, 1/4 Teaspoon of chai spice, your choice of sweetener (honey or agave), and 1 oz hot water (NOT boiled).
    - Whisk till froth and smooth
    - Pour over ice and top with non-dairy milk
