    I’m super new to matcha and I just ordered my first matcha online since I cannot go out at the moment. I’m super nervous but super excited about it!

    Great channel. I love matcha, we buy it here in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the EU, where we have a rather expensive, but original ceremonial matcha from Japan. With its beautiful vibrant green color and heavenly taste. :)

    Thanks for your video. Nicely done. Unfortunately I’ve tried Macha twice and so far it’s drinking it has been akin to drinking bitter powdered grass clippings. I’ll give it another try, though.

    Appreciate the help! Maybe in the future you could do less zooming in and out? Sorry, I love the advice but it made me a little dizzy.

    I bought your product on Amazon and I just love the product. I am waiting to buy the bulk bag but it is not available at the moment. I need to buy at bulk because I am drinking 3-5 cups a day and cannot spend that much daily if I buy the 30gr can. Cheers

      Dear wren460, thank you for your comment, and we are honored to hear that you love our product! The 3.5oz and 16oz bags are only available for purchase through our website for the time being (not on amazon), we are sorry for that inconvenience. Have a great day :)

    Must not use metal spoon.

    • @MatchaKonomi
      @MatchaKonomi  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Jawad! Why is that? :)

    • @jhgindia
      @jhgindia 6 лет назад +1

      Hello.
      1. It's a tradition (ceremonial ethics) to not to use metal while preparing matcha drink.
      Even they use stone to grind the leaves. Only low quality, cheap matcha manufactures use metal grinders.
      2. According to many elderly people, matcha will react to metal because it's so delicate.
      * personally I don't have any scientific references for this. I am working on this. I will let you know. :)
      Again: these rules are for advanced, ceremonial type of users. We can use it as we wish there is no harm.
      By the way , I am a coffee grower from India.
      I like ur video 👍

      Hi Jawad, thank you for your comment, and you are absolutely right! That shot was from another video where we were using a measuring spoon, but a bamboo scoop would have definitely been more appropriate. :)

    Not all Matcha from China is poor quality. Matcha also comes from South Korea from what I've read. I've tried Chinese Matcha and it's actually very nice and that goes to show that it doesn't have to be from Japan to be high quality.

    Do not agree with Japan vs China origins, first of all Chinas government is very strict when it comes to using pesticides, matter of fact the tribal families will loose there land if they are caught using pesticides. 2nd china is also all Manuel labor for all there teas and matcha keeping it always organic. I love Japan but they are heavy in machine production, even know this helps with superior green teas and matcha, it is hurting local farms sense the prices have went down, thank god that the farmers are open minded and are trying more Chinese traditional methods to get varying flavors and experiences.
