    The gist of the comfort aspect that these boots provide is in their removable insole. I just bought a $40 pair off their site, swaped them into my current non-chisos boots and now they're as comfortable if no more. Saved $600 bucks 😁

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  3 месяца назад

      The comfort is also in the construction! You're walking on card board in other boots, and even with a nice insole, it's not ideal!
      Our boots have a leather lining, a steel shank, and are made by hand!

    Please make a roper with a work sole. I wear American made Justins for work, have wide feet and they are the only brand that fits. Bought an 11D but wishing I would have gotten a 10 1/2 since breaking them in. I’m on the fence about ordering yours in an 11 or 10 1/2, I’ve heard that I should go with the bigger size because of the inserts.

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  3 месяца назад

      Our boot size compensates for our thicker insoles! Our 11D, without the insole, fits like a 12D would!
      I'd stick with the same size you wear in other Cowboy Boot brands!

    Great video! I learned a lot about the products. Other cowboy boot manufacturers don't do this kind of video. By the way, I'm wondering if I decide to add thin half sole protectors like Topy to Chisos boots it would void the warranty. Can someone from Chisos please answer?

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  Месяц назад

      The process of applying a sole saver actually requires that the soles of the boots are scuffed, so unfortunately that would indeed void the warranty.

    If I have an older or worn pair of boots that have scuffs on the toe box, is there a way to add some dye to it or should I just leave the battle scars?

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  8 месяцев назад

      We would leave the battle scars! But you can absolutely lesson or eliminate them. First, try using a conditioner like the Chisos Leather Balm to restore the oils and finish. Then, you can try using a color shoe cream. And finally a colored shoe polish. If that fails, you can get specific dye pens for the leather... but we think that's overkill, to be honest. Our go to is just a little conditioning.

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  8 месяцев назад +1

      Shoot us a note so we can follow up howdy@chisos.com ! However, watch our video on modifications. You can put some material (like get a thin insole and cut out the heel) underneath the Chisos removable comfort insole. This will make just the heel area fit more snugly. You could also take your hands and literally push in the sides of the heel counter to cup your heel more. Hope this helps!

    • @dewboy13
      @dewboy13 8 месяцев назад +1

      You can stretch your left boot. Try the baseball method. Put a baseball down in there, and stretch the leather where it's tight. Or just keep wearing it. It will stretch.
      There are other methods you can look up to stretch the particular part that's bothering you.

    • @Chisos
      @Chisos  8 месяцев назад +1

      Agree with dewboy13, we'd start by taking a look at different stretching techniques. Handy guide linked below. We don't have a thin version of our insole yet, but perhaps another brand insole would be thinner and find that happy middle ground? But we'd say try the stretch first!
