I built an amplifier based on the circuit of Sansui AU70 during the late 60.
Then owned AU111, AU9900 and A80.
Still have a SS2 headphones.

Some 30 over yrs ago i tried a couple of popular Sansui but find its sound not to my liking. Rough, 2 dimensional & lacking in detail. Any small british amp from the same era will beat almost any solid state Sansui easily. Luxman was far better to me.
