    Girl I want to say thank you so much for all your keratin videos I’ve been trying to decide on a keratin or smoothing system and no one has as many tutorials as you! Also i liked your camera better on the setting you said looked dark I think the other setting washes out the colors in the video

    I’m glad I seen this video . Last week I got this keratin set along with their infrared blow dryer at my cosmetology school. I can’t wait to try it on my mom & myself .

    Your hair looks soo good! I’m a straight haired natural, and my hair always reverts around my part ( I do side parts)! Do you he any tips on how to prevent this?

    • @SimplySubrena
      @SimplySubrena  2 года назад +1

      Is it reverting near the roots or all over? Using anti humidity products on your leave out is your best bet!

    Thanks for sharing your keratin journey! I am 90% sure I'm going to start wearing my hair straight with keratin treatments. How do you sleep on it? My hair is hard to wrap when bone straight. Satin pillowcases make me sweat--especially at the nape of my neck. Part of the reason I'm going straight is I'm sick of the nighttime routine struggle (one of many reasons). I just want to be prepared for what to expect for nights + mornings with keratin-treated hair! Thank you!!

    • @SimplySubrena
      @SimplySubrena  2 года назад +1

      If I’m wearing the straight look I wrap my hair, loose Bantu knots to get a loose curl look, loose ponytails sometimes and wrap a scarf around it

    I’m fully natural, not heat trained for 10 years. You are about to mess around and have me trying this keratin treatment because I need a change! I’m tired of the same look, but still nervous to take the dive.

    • @SimplySubrena
      @SimplySubrena  2 года назад +1

      You can always try the milder one to test it out. It’s a 6 week one that washes out faster

      @@SimplySubrena I’ll look into that, thanks. This Florida humidity doesn’t play fair.

    Is the keratin treatment organic? And if so why do you have face mask on ?

    do we have to use heat after each time we wash our hair? i love the curly curls after washing it a second time with the keratin treatments🥰 wondered if it would be okay to keep it like this

      You’ll have to try it out and see if you see any negatives from it.

    Is it harmful to leave the treatment in longer than they recommend? I have very fine thin hair and I worry about damage. Also I flat iron between 320 and 350 degrees. Would I keep to those temps for this treatment?

    • @SimplySubrena
      @SimplySubrena  2 года назад +2

      I haven’t seen any bad effects from waiting to do the first wash day. Ultimately the keratin stays on your hair either way and washes out as time goes on. If your hair is fine then yes, use a temp you feel comfortable with, fine hair doesn’t need high temp to seal the treatment in.

      @@SimplySubrena Thank you! BTW I washed this weekend and used your She Grows Hair Mask. I am 61 years old and have tried everything, but this is the best hair mask I have ever used especially being 80% transitioned. For the 1st time I saw my own curls pop, and detangling was a breeze to my evil, self-knotting hair. I wash every 7 to 10 days. Use every wash or occasionally? Great product!
