STANDARD RECIPE- 2.5 pounds
Olive oil: 11.2 oz (70%) (for moisturizing and conditioning)
Coconut oil: 4 oz (25%) (for lather and hardness)
Castor oil: 0.8 oz (5%) (for lather and conditioning)
Sodium hydroxide (lye): 2.2 4oz
Distilled water: 4.15 oz
Superfat: 5%
Lye concentration: 35%

I'm so sorry it's been such a struggle to get your niche into the soap market. I'm a soapmaker too and I'm really grateful for your honesty about the amount of sales and the amount of work you do because I've been doing about the same since I started in 2021 and I keep asking myself if it's worth it.. Activated and the patchouli bars are the only ones that men seem to like. I’m partnering with a black owner fragrance oil supplier so a male soap bar is coming soon.

Good morning, I am very sorry to hear that but unfortunately it’s very common and I had experienced myself. The fees over here and insurance requirements to participate in local markets are very high, minimum of 2 million dollars coverage. I post mostly on IG, I am not a computer savvy person so that doesn’t help either. I will be watching your videos and supporting you on your platforms. Thank you
wow did not know about market fees! I heard etsy isn't worth it unless you have customers you met in person at craft shows/ markets

@@boop7313 I’m just not doing markets in that area anymore. It’s a 3 hour drive and the markets tend to be $100 or more so it’s not really worth it. But thanks for watching my video and the support.
