I have seen so many small businesses complain about the TikTok shop 3 day policy. They should adjust that. That is so unfair. So excited for your success, though. ❤
Absolutely! Their selling platform is HORRENDOUS
the getting products approve is horrible … customer service is horrible . I had a few sales and i’m disgusted . i hate it
They allow you to but quantity in your listings. You should only list what you can fulfill in the 3 days.
They shut my shop down because I stole my own trademark apparently. I sent all of my documentation and they still have the store up with a bunch of violations. Hours of communication got me nowhere. Just talking in circles.

That 3 day turnaround is a big reason I haven't opened a tiktok shop haha. Sometimes life gets in the way or if you have a lot of orders that's an unrealistic turnaround. Small businesses are not Amazon with their next day shipping.

Yep, 3 day turn around and then if your brand new it takes a month for the pay out, but the month timeframe only starts once it shows delivered. Fun times.

Have you tried making and using one of those combined USPS barcode scanning forms that way USPS will just need to scan one barcode for all the packages?

Personally i don’t prefer that heat press, it’s a lot more inconsistent than any commercial heat oress
What color are the poly mailers and tissue paper you use and where do you order your packing supplies from? I have been trying to find a mauve(ish) poly mailer and have not been successful. Thanks for any help

Congrats! Does your shipping software allow you to print one manifest of all shipments created for the day? The manifest will contain all tracking numbers and your postal carrier just scans the manifest vs. scanning each individual package. I’ve been considering a Tik Tok shop but this 3dy rule really makes me hesitate! Doesn’t seem like they are setting small shop owners up for success. But GREAT job to you and the fam for helping out! 🎉🎉🎉

Honestly, I understand the pros and the good of using tiktok shop. But if the turnaround time is not feasible, then I would not offer that as an option. It seems like to me (haven't started a business yet) that it could end up doing more harm than profit in the long run, especially if you are already tired. It seems like a quick recipe for burnout even more so than the usual holiday season.
So typically 1-3 business days is our turn around time. With Tik tok shop you can meet that time frame and pass of the package to usps but if usps doesn’t scan it in by the end of your 3 business days you could have the potential of Tik tok not paying you for your orders. So theoretically even if you sent it same day you could still lose your money. It’s a major flaw on their end and one a lot of small businesses are upset with.

Interestingly these type of sweatshirts must be an American thing. I’ve seen so many RUclips videos on people creating a business printing them at home. It would not translate here in Australia. I just don’t think anyone would buy something like that here. Different demographic.
