I just got my 3.0 and I finished the assembly process. I’m now trying how to learn how to work the gears, PAS and gear box. This video is definitely a big help. I hope I can learn how to shift it. Thanks.

I wouldn''t have thought about it being a really heavy bike, but it makes sense. Man, it goes a lot faster than I thought it would. Good to know about the turning around. I wanted one before, but after seeing this, I really want one.
Hi guys. They are awesome. They are heavy. I think around 65 pounds. If you are on pretty level area they work great without any assist. We can''t wait to take them with us on our travels. Wow that thing will really roll! I think telling everyone to take it out of assist to turn around is such a great tip. I would never have known or probably even thought of it and would probably wipe out lol. It seems simple enough to operate. What a fun bike to have.

Terrific video! We are contemplating buying Lectric Ebikes for my wife and me and your video was very helpful. I'm not sure of what the point is of the gear shifter when you have pedal assist. Can you explain that? Do you usually shift gears when riding or do you just leave it in one gear and then rely on the pedal assist? That part confuses me. Thanks!
Hey guys. We love our Lectric bikes and the new ones are even better than ours. My wife does not shift all that much. She leaves it in 4 or 5 and just uses peddle assist. I sometimes do not use peddle assist and the gears come in handy. Going up hill with peddle assist I will shift down to 2 or 3 just to make it easier to peddle. Very Nice, I have had Lectric XP for about 9 months and we ride quite a bit as well. Although I have modified mine and added some neat little upgrades it's been great here in Round Rock Texas to get around with my wife who has a Step Thru. Its a sold bike for that $899 price. And Lectric is always good at support. Nice video and I just liked and subscribed. I hopefully one day will start vlogging on mine as well when work permits me to have the time to create videos. --chris

Hi. Thanks so much for watching. They will actually go faster if you reprogram the computer to level 3. I think at level 3 they will go close to 30. Thats to fast for me. Thanks for the compliment on the garage. We store our motorhome in there when not in use. We had an accident the week before Thanksgiving about 480 miles from home and it is still being repaired. Hi there. Thanks for watching the video. I love the cruise control. I forgot to show that in the video. I am going to do another just to show how that works. We are really excited about taking them camping. We think we can ride places that we were not able to before. Once again thanks and take care. Kent and Tami
Hardly mentioned...but cruise control can be set for as low as 3,4.5 mph instead of the PAS -1 set speed of 6+ mph. Just lock-in the speed as you reach it & not wait until the bike reaches the higher speeds. [same for any speed desired] Cruise set will give your hand a rest from constantly holding down the trottle. Great if you have arthritis in the hands.

i chanced my shifter to a Shimano Altus SL-M310 7 Speed Shifter, it will make shifting much easyer and faster

I ordered one of these recently. I keep hearing people complain about the seat, so I'm pretty curious. I'm a road cyclist and am used to spending 3+ hours riding a bike with 25mm tires at 100 psi with no suspension and a nearly unpadded seat (fizik Arione). Pretty sure this thing will feel like riding on glass. Loud glass from the looks of things. 😆
Hi there. I don't think you will have any problem with the seat. Sounds like you are used to a hard seat. The tires are a little noisy but it rides pretty smooth. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hi Steve. Thanks for coming and checking out our channel. I know some people have hauled these on bike racks on cars. I do know that they are not waterproof which could be a problem. We pull a Buick Enclave behind our motorhome and we are going to haul them in plastic containers in the back. They fold up pretty small. 3:33 If you are going to be riding on the paved roads a lot, I would get a smaller (skinnier) front tire....
I did and it turns a lot better/shorter.

On peddle assist mode 2 how long will the battery last?
Hi guys. I would have to kind of guess. But I think at least 20 to 25 miles. It kind of depends on the weight of the rider etc. We road 10 miles in a park using mutliple settings and still had plenty of battery life left. You would love the bike. They are really fun to ride. you will need 17 inches for it to slide in on it's side. [ie, wheels horizontal]
How can u pedal this without pas? Mines seems impossible to ride normal
They are a little cumbersome without any peddle assist. If I put it in the lower gears it isn't to bad.

My pas 1 2 3 don’t seem to do much at all
We usually peddle ours in pas2. Then just shift gears. I'm surprised u can't feel a difference between those settings. Our bikes are very noticeable in each setting.
How are you riding without pedal assist ? Throttle?
You can shut the pedal assist system off on the bike and just pedal like a regular bike.

What gear and peddle assist would you set if you were going up a very very steep hill
If it is really steep I would put it on PAS 5. Gear would be up to you. I'm guessing a lower gear because that hill is going to slow you down. It is really trial and error for me. Thanks for watching and asking. Take care and have a great week. Kent and Tami

unlocking will still have a top speed of 20MPH at the throttle. However, ......To reach the 28 MPH you must add pedal power.
