So with a huge royalty to EA, these "developers" are just trying to use its name and likeness to market it quickly. It has nothing to do with trying to keep the IP - you're mistaking that they NEED to sell command and conquer products to keep the IP, but they due need to service and protect its IP. Most of these "developers" on GooglePlay and iTune stores are overseas scam artist companies wanting to make a quick buck using micro-transactions through base building and never ending level progressions. Look at it's developer , "Level Infinite" - its a subsidiary to a Singapore developer who buys the license of many other game titles.

@@grigorychernyshyov8535 Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era might actually turn things around again. Besides the cartoonish look, the developers are taking it back to the H1-H3 days. Even if it's just ok, it's still going to be 100x better than Heroes 7, so I'm kind of excited for this one.

I would never consider it as Warcraft + C&C just because of one thing since the game looks like a new C&C title entirely

The pop cap is huge, and it will probably get removed with time for skirmish/singleplayer.
