I've seen ppl say that the majority of the vizards choose not to because they never LIKED those powers. They only trained to control them, not to ENHANCE them, they nearly all have very short time limits, and used them against aizen since he GAVE them the powers, as a big "Fuck You" but it honestly didn't even help them much in that fight.
The only acception to this seems to be mashiro. She seems to be the only one not resentful of her abilities, and coincidentally doesn't show up in the war against the quincies at all 🤔
Using them against the quincies might have been a handicap considering the drain it has on them

​@@mementomori4580 The time limit isn't much of a concern when all Shinji needed to do against Bambietta was blast her will a Cero when she was disoriented by his Bankai. It puts a strain on them but not so much that they cannot use it multiple times to fight with the masks. Not mentioning how they are able to wear them only partially to concerve stamina.
I think the Vizards not being Vizards anymore was a big oversight from Kubo's part, focusing too much on giving the spotlight to the Quicy that he forgot his already estabished character's abilities. The other blatant exemple of this would be how he forgot that Byakuya was a Kido and Shumpo master when he lost his Bankai aganst Äs Nödt and seemingly loosing all ability to defend despite that.
I love Bleach to death but sometimes it's okay to aknowledge when the author forgoes the agency of his characters to create artificial tension.
