Curious about how you would suspend something in the middle of your dice? It looks like it would be easier with a cap mold like you have! Cool dice in this video :-)
Did the resin cure properly at the top where the ink was dropped in? If so how?! Whenever I’ve tried it he Petri method my resin just refuses to cure! They look amazing by the way!
Yep! Sometimes it takes a little bit longer to completely harden but I don't have issues with it not curing. Your resin could just be really sensitive to the ink. Thank you!
i guarantee the spots where the ink dropped in this video are soft. usually petri are done in two step pours since the alcohol never really cures when not mixed into the resin.
@@vampcaff Same experience, I normally do the effect pour, then sand down any faces where there is exposed ink as it will still be liquid. Then I will submerge the dice in the same color resin and place them into a mold with a bit in the bottom already, to "re-skin" the dice, so that any exposed ink is now covered. I've had issues with even 1-2 drops, let alone the super high amount in this video.
A lot of people had been recommending this specific brand for white ink so I thought I would try it to compare the two and I like this one EXPONENTIALLY better.
I love how easy to follow your tutorial is, can't wait to give this a try tomorrow!
yes! I found another great dice channel!
Thank you. Great video.
