Wow. Thanks for the review. I've been tempted by cheep alcohol inks, but not anymore. I use Brerees and pinata alcohol inks I'm my resin, and they are super pigmented.
I originally bought this same set of Let's Resin alcohol inks because it was the cheapest. My set of Pinata inks came today and it is hard to believe they are supposed to be the same medium, because the difference is like night and day. I couldn't get the cheap inks to petri because neither of the whites they came with were pigmented enough to sink. Also I noticed the same issue as this review where the color descriptions were sometimes wildly off to the actual color.
An excellent question I don't know the answer to. The only other liquid dye I've used is monocure's CMYK pigments for coloring my uv resin for 3d printing and it also stays in a drop that sinks rather than dispersing on the surface like these do, but it works well. I assume the pigment set isn't alcohol based like these ones are (shrug). Just make sure you shake well before using and if it doesn't seem to work right when you mix it, maybe contact the manufacturer to see if there is a defect or if it's an old batch
What a well made and informative video. I mean seriously. Thanks!

Did you give these a good shake before use?
I have let’s resin alcohol ink n they do not disperse like that in the resin. It stays as the blob of color until I mix it. What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you have the alcohol inks and not the liquid pigments?
No offense but I bought the wrong one first, just not paying attention. 🤷🤦
Let's resin also do dye.. sounds like you have the dye
Alcohol breaks down resin.. so that's why those dice were soft. To much stops the curing.
