Hard to believe that most of the classic (1975-77) Wings lineup is now gone... Denny Laine (1944-2023) Linda McCartney (1941-1998) Jimmy McCulloch (1953-1979) Only Sir Paul and Joe English among the members in this lineup are still with us now.
@@ClassicTVMan1981X Yes, and I think Seiwell has indicated it was the biggest mistake of his career. He quit, apparently, bc he wasn’t getting paid enough, but this is when most of Paul’s money was tied up in receivership due to the ongoing legal battles involving the breakup of The Beatles. But Wings was about to become massive, and also, the Beatles’ monies were about to be released. Years later, Seiwell told Paul he quit bc he felt he was underpaid. Paul agreed, and apparently wrote Seiwell a massive check. Henry, on the other hand, quit mainly due to artistic differences, feeling his playing was being too restricted by Paul.

Yesterday Denny Laine passed away unexpectedly for fans us, he died somewhere in Florida as it was reported. And that he died at the age of 79. When I found out about it, I was devastated and I was a little upset, because I really thought that they would hopefully be another reunion of Wings.💔😢 I was hoping if Paul McCartney and Denny Laine would reform the group again, and make up a brand new lineup of the band. And I was kind of hoping if they would choose Ringo Starr to be the drummer of the band, and hopefully Ringo would fill in the frontmen of the group Paul McCartney's son James. Because sometimes Paul and James would get together and do music on stage, and they would sing together as well. That's what I was kind of hoping that if Wings would come back, with four frontman of the group. Because originally it was Paul mccartney, Linda Eastman McCartney and Denny Laine. They were the original Three front men of the band, and if the group where to return buy both Paul McCartney and Denny Laine. I was hoping if it would be a different and brand new lineup, and hopefully if it would be new and 4 frontman of the group. I was hoping if it would be Paul McCartney, Denny Laine, Ringo Starr and James McCartney. I was hoping if something like that could have been possible, since there will never be a Beatles reunion. But I don't know, Denny Laine died since yesterday, I'm very upset and I'm very heartbroken 💔😢

Wings would never reform without Linda. The band died with her.

Yes Denny Laine has a son. His son is called Laine. He also has 4 other kids.
