RIP Nick - great way to watch him break down this iconic song. The drum part isn't particularly difficult but his playing is so in the pocket on this song. Without Nick coming along it would have been a lot harder for me to learn how to play double bass.
RIP my idol drummer.
When John Wick wants a break from being a Cyberpunk in the year 2077, he chills out by drumming to some Megadeth.
A true Wild Stallion!

Tank you And R.I.P.
An awesome play through that rewards knowledge of the source material. Any of thumbs pointed the wrong way probably shouldn't have even watched. Thanks Nick (forever) and thanks for posting this amazing display.
I had no idea, RIP. Nick Menza and Vinnie Paul is why I started playing drums.. 24 years ago.
42 people take lessons from Lars
and 4.455 take lessons from Lars, Menza, Lombardo, Bostaph and don't care about that fanboy shit!
you are a fuckin idiot.
i think the idiots are who disllike not who point the finger on them
Are you a nut nut?. This chap was seriously underrated. Ask a drummer about Nick Menza and they will say great drummer with a great feel but ask Joe public and they do not rate him the same way yet ask non drummers about Chris Adler and they will rant and rave whereas real drummers are yet to be impressed and there are very few comments on drummer forums about Chris Adler yet there are many for Nick Menza and rightly so.
and Nicko.
Nick Menza had the coolest drumsound of all Megadeth drummers. As a kid, his heavy pounding but yet swinging playing style got me by the balls big time even before hairs grew on them.
The crashes are so brilliant that Nick has to wear crappy sunglasses?
He does what he wants.
"look at my horse" horse's glasses
He´s hiding he is actually Ace Frehley...
I could watch him play drums for hours, he was amazing. Rip
One of the best drummers ever!!!..R.I.P.👍👌🤘🕯🕯😓
rip lovely and talent Nick!
lars must be looking for tabs
Raffie Quler He absolutely can play Octavarium, or The Sound of Muzak...goddamnit
We won't really know. He's stopped playing fast in late 80s early 90s when he didn't need to. The Black album really did change the band for a while
Lars drumming in hardwired was pretty good
Ege Batur tabs lol...
holy! sounds great
One of the hardest drum beats to play in thrash metal, END! RIP Nick. I am glad I had the chance to chat with you and tell you that my son is named after you.
RIP Nick MENZA...
Drums is a hard place in Megadeth and Nick was one of the best they had!
