Plus, I think that once you reach a certain level of expertise, that you become comfortable enough to acknowledge that other great professionals exist in your field.

Never understood why this track fades so bloody early on the original recording, even on the anniversary re-release, it starts fading out at Chuck's first solo in the outro. Now finally I get to hear Chuck's and Steve's solos on top of Gene's awesome playing.
i always thought the album cut out the end to early it's really good to hear it in full , i used to turn my hi fi up louder by the second as it was getting quieter on the album as its probably the best part.

Sounds like an unedited cut-the trading off at the end goes a lot longer than the original-fine by me.
I think the drums are just loud in the mix and the fade out effect on the ending solos is turned off
