I simply love this version. The band lays the simple rytmic tapestry, and the singer loads off the thickness and saucyness to the song. You can really hear how many different techniques she uses in her singing without it stealing the sensitivity or soulfullness in her interpretation. And her sudden sandpaper tweak at 1:37 gives instant goosebumps. What a candy for the eardrums.
Always get chills at the 1'38 mark.
