closeted gender qüėer here. my mom just realized that i have a visible mustache and now she’s threatening me about it. i think she thinks i don’t know about it and calling it disgusting will make me shave it off but i’ve enjoyed having it. it’s subtle which is what i like about it and it confuses the hell out of people as well because they can’t tell if i’m a boy or a girl. i also cut my hair like a month ago so it makes it even harder. annoying thing is that my mom also keeps trying to make me do something to it to make it more feminine (i have 4c hair so no matter how short it is unless it’s shaved to my scalp there’s always a hairstyle that can be done to make it more feminine)

Yes I can relate! I have armpit hair, a slight moustache and a happy trail. My happy trail makes me feel so masculine I love it but my mom literally acts so disgusted every time she sees it. Also her and my aunt constantly tell me that i need to wax my moustache, my arms and legs. I have 3C hair and I wanna get a "mens" haircut. Gonna get it soon hopefully but I know my family members are gonna freak out.

I'm starting to question my gender identity again(I thought I was done, but no, it just went on a hiatus like some kind of fanfic writer apparently) and I am not enthused at all.
