Strasburg & Lancaster Railfanning (5/27/23 - 5/28/23) (Norfolk and Western, Amtrak, & NS)

- Norfolk and Western Class J 611 also known as the Queen of Steam appears one last time for a farewell tour and will head back home after. I wanted to get alot of shots by going to different spots in Strasburg and go to Leamen Road, Paradise PA to see Amtrak meet up with 611. Met alot of new friends and got alot of good pictures of 475 and 611. ACS-64 642 Veterans also makes an appearance on the Keystone trailing.
I also went to the Amtrak Lancaster station to catch the Pennsylvanian 43 arriving. After looking closely at the windshield of the P42, theres a little note that says "NOT 611" inside. Shortly after the train left, a Norfolk Southern H28 passes by the station to end the day's railfanning.

yea great catches and video of this day with N&W 611 and 475 of this railroad
awesome catch catching a little whstle battle with 611 and a amtrak and catching the veterans electric unit to that came with its cab car in charge after 611 left
They should get AEM-7 unit 915 running.

And, funnily enough, Dad and I chased the Amtrak train at the end there for a short while as we left Strasburg.
Are people allowed to go inside the cab of Amtrak E60MA unit 603???
Sadly no, you're not allowed to climb into the cab of the E60. Im not sure why the door was opened before
