Agreed, this suddenly made the high ticket price not such a high ask. I have a uf1 and was debating going full in on SSL eco system. Debate over.

I’ve created numerous videos on my channel dedicated to the UF8, & UF1.
I’ll have to add the UC1 to my collection.

Amazing! This is really confirming why I invested in the SSL 360 Controller system. I love it already, but this is just taking it up a whole notch with ability to smoothly incorporate and control all of our plug-In libraries that we have invested in over the years.

This is such a great surprise 😲 I’ve known it from the beginning, that my UC1 , UF8 , UF1 , Bus + and the Fusion was a good investment, so thanks to SSL to keep us updated in that way 🥰

So great and it confirms that investing in SSL hardware and plugin is not a waste of money, it is entering an ecosystem with a wise team of developers that is customer and musician oriented, like UAD is also. Thank you so much SSL team for that wonderful new feature that will make me use even more your controllers. It feels good to be understood as a musician by such companies. So different from Waves for instance whose only interest is in making money from its customers!

Ok that's what I'm talking about! I just got a UF1 and I didn't want to instantiate channel strips on every track so I can control them better in the DAW Plugin Layer. This is awesome
As a Console 1 user, this just got my attention.
Can't believe I didn't catch this video before......I've been hitting the SSL website at least 2x/week since I heard about this to see if there's any release date news. Really looking forward to trying this out....heck, I wish I coulda been a beta-tester for it!
Didn't see this coming, what a pleasant surprise. Just a wish but seeing it so expertly implemented is just incredible. Now we know why you guys are called the masters of Audio. Simply brilliant!!! Now this is truly becoming the only line of controllers you need. What is possible next?
Excellent update, there must be a way to map even manually the colors of the pro tools tracks in the UF8, it would be wonderful

this is super awesome. can i just say a feature i would really like to see within 360 in general is the ability to change the HQ setting on all instances of the channel strips in a single click? it's a real pain when i'm trying to save CPU by running with HQ off on like 18 instances of one of the channel strips and then have to switch them all to HQ individually when doing a mixdown.

As a happy user of AVID and Softube surfaces... this has peaked my interest. My Avid Dock has done this for a long time, however, the muscle memory of preset knobs looks super cool
I am in process of installing a large format 4k G+. This will be perfect for my mobile rig. I had originally shelved the UC1 and using a Avid S1 with Pro Tools and Eucons's custom plugin mapping. However, Eucon is limited to Pro Tools and a handful of other DAWS. I really like the SSL 360 software and this just brought the channel strip to another level. I may just shelve the S1 and stay with the UC1. That way the workflow is the same between the mobile rig and my SSL 4k console. Great times.
@Greg I see you're using the Avid S1. I am thinking about jumping on the Avid S3, was going to get it years ago but I didn't pull the trigger. I am also in the process of going to a large format console. Currently looking for a space to move too. Question for you how has your experience with the S1 been? Since I have out grown the space I am currently and limited on space. I have been looking at both Console 1MIII and now UCL since now it can support multiple plugins. I already have the Console 1 MKII but never really used it because I have an analog console. I do more mixing outside the box then in. Starting to have issue with my analog console (Toft ATB 32). It time for maintenance . But I am going to hold off since I an go to move and upgrade my console. So I may do my mixing ITB for now until I upgrade .

Bought a UC1 before this announcement, as I figured it might make the price go up. This is the update I was hoping for. I've never seen a controller work with Slate before, this is also a first.

This is really great but can you clarify about how many plugins you can use per instance of 'Link'. i.e.: can we built our own independent channel strip (different dynamics and EQ)? or is only one plugin per instance of 'Link'?

A bit funny when the drop down opens for the 3rd party plugins, there is also Softube Console 1 (and no other Softube plugins) located in the list :)

Am I correct in that essentially 360 link is a plugin I’ll insert into my daw, and then I’ll open up other plugins within that plugin in order to control them?
If that’s the case, will I be able to create presets? Hypothetically, save a chain of plugins within an instance of 360 link to easily open up again another time?
I'm imagining a daw in this ssl model and designer, vixi maria, ssl has everything to be on top with a king's throne

Can we use multiple plugins inside a unique instance? Example: UAD Eq plugin on the EQ section + Waves compressor on the Comp section + Waves NLS on the In/Out section?
so if I have 5 plugins on the same chanell I have to open 5 link plugins and load plugins from link? I''m curious about the workflow with multiple plugins .how do you switch between plugins in a daw?
