Plus 99% coverage is still not enough. The sun gives off so much light that even at those numbers it still looks like a huge bright orb. It’s actually kind of amazing how even those few decimals have such an impact. 99 vs 100 is craaaaaazy.
Swedish arcades are mostly found inside amusement parks. Great if you need to kill time because you don't like rollercoasters and your friends/family does.
In Umeå there is one big arcade/laser tag/escape room/billards and darts place in the middle of the city. I guess it might be more lucrative that far in the north due too the dark winter.
All the horns were hilarious but the end of the story and the part where Iskall played the horn of Tango saying "Mines bigger than yours" and then immediately after playing the one with Pearl saying "Keep slapping it mate" completely killed me I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard Thank you Iskall I needed a good laugh and you never fail to deliver

It has everything: building, a time lapse, consideration of others, weirdness, sanity, a visit to the shopping district, appreciation of others, a somewhat successful attempt at trying to avoid spoilers, friends just hanging out and so much more. I am loving Iskall's build style this season, it's such creative and interesting usage of texturing and gradients, reminds me of Bdubs' style with a lot of uniqueness to offer as well.

The eclipse where I live was 100%. The cooling of the environment was definitely weird but even weirder was the birds going from full tweeting to total silence. Glad your wrist is better. You probably were laid over in the city I was born in, Portland, ME, most international flights to Europe go threw there.

idea for a -hermit- -challenge- neighbour mission, you can only use goat horns for communication, either for like a few minutes of your episode (this includes talking to the audience) or for an interaction with other hermits in that episode
I love the details, it gives your build the real human interaction feel. It’s very nice to see a build organically develop and seeing you going with the flow of trial and error. This instead of having a full build worked out and just making it. For me it’s also a good learning process.
Watching you figure out how to do greebles is probably my favorite part of this season. I know some people love watching the zanier/nuttier behavior this season, but for me, watching you grow as a builder is what I'm enjoying most!

Ah wish you could have traveled the extra few miles to see 100% totality. I live up in Maine and we had some of the best viewing in the country because of weather. Traveled about 70 miles to my girlfriends hometown to watch it. Was absolutely incredible to see it.
I traveled 4.5 hours in Oklahoma to see it (5.5 hours home thanks to traffic), but it was so worth it. We got over 4 minutes of totality here, and my mind is still absolutely blown by the experience.
suggestion for the apartment build: have the windows be in different colors. it's very cool and realistic to see different colored lighting and moods in each apartment unit

1:23 speaking of, I am currently extremely ill with covid despite having never stopped masking and barely going out because others aren't as careful and I am vulnerable. Even then I have been unlucky and I am 3 weeks into being unable to do anything. Hermitcraft is helping keep my spirits up and watching all the amazing fundraising people have done over the last few days has been amazing. Please don't forget one of the simplest and cheapest things you can do to help extremely sick people is to continue to be careful around your own health and spreading contagious illnesses that will affect others more drastically than they might affect you 💙
I absolutely love the little towel hanging out the window. It made think of a bunch of little balconies with small plant pots and clothes lines strung up and just all of the life you see walking past an apartment building. :)

A neat idea for a little bit of detail on the apartments above the shops could be a couple balconies here and there under the windows! You could even have them in various stages of decay to match the derelict rust aspect

That reminded of a game we used to play at Blockbuster Video and other video rental places. Create an entire conversation just from the titles and then leave without renting anything. Love the creativity!

I was thinking laundromat to go next to the internet café. Not exactly sure what you could launder though, but some washing machines could look cool and would fit the vibe.
Just some simple ideas for the apartment and shop build: Adding clothing lines, so perhaps using leavers with either string or chains on a few windows, and then using armour stands to hang up leather armour, or doing towels like you did. Maybe the upper windows have something like a french balcony. And block wise for the cafe/shop, maybe play around with concrete instead of doing stone/tuff as its more commercial those shops at the bottoms of apartments often have a concrete finish, but you add the color with the shops branding which maybe you could do with banners and maybe some coffee in item frames from Cleos shop. Also i think the glass window you have in the cafe should have a block base and the window be 2 tall instead of 3 tall. These are all just thoughts and things i would try, although you are probably a better builder then me :P Keep up the amazing work!
To answer your question about the 'Rocket Shop Robbery', It was BDubs - He accidentally confused your upgraded rockets for normal rockets and bought them for the price of the normal ones. Unintentional robberies are a very funny thing to see play out.
What a fun surprise that the community got with the Charity stream! So so fun! I'm happy you got to go to it. I'm super proud of you for trying Hot Ones! I know you were feeling nervous about it. Your base is coming along. I like how unique it looks. It teaches me that I don't have to stick with traditional. Those horns are super funny! It might be fun to have Stress' side being all colour buildings and having Iskall's all muted or monochrome. It could be an interesting theme to go with for the murder mystery, having the two factions so close together.
I love the direction the base is going! I think the apartment building section would rly benefit from balconies, so details like the towel and other things like potted plants or string lights or whatever can be added in too and it'll add more dimension
I love the way the base is coming along, and if you want to put more stuff of the flat walls, if its industrial you could add catwalks or scaffolding (not the block but stylized buildings) to cover more space and make places to walk around on and explore. Having buildings on top of each other is also a great way to make use of space, like what is done with that garage and the sugarcane building. It would be cool to also have pipes that stretch out from the building and act like it's giving/receiving things from elsewhere in the area. Overall im super excited about where the base is going to go from here, and this season already has been so much fun to watch!!

Yeah here in Belgium I've never really seen arcades before, apparently there's some in the big big cities but they typically don't have videogames

Adding clothing lines, so perhaps using leavers with either string or chains on a few windows, and then using armour stands to hang up leather armour, or doing towels like you did.
Maybe the upper windows have something like a french balcony.
And block wise for the cafe/shop, maybe play around with concrete instead of doing stone/tuff as its more commercial those shops at the bottoms of apartments often have a concrete finish, but you add the color with the shops branding which maybe you could do with banners and maybe some coffee in item frames from Cleos shop. Also i think the glass window you have in the cafe should have a block base and the window be 2 tall instead of 3 tall.
These are all just thoughts and things i would try, although you are probably a better builder then me :P Keep up the amazing work!
To answer your question about the 'Rocket Shop Robbery', It was BDubs - He accidentally confused your upgraded rockets for normal rockets and bought them for the price of the normal ones. Unintentional robberies are a very funny thing to see play out.

Your base is coming along. I like how unique it looks. It teaches me that I don't have to stick with traditional. Those horns are super funny! It would be fun to play name that season or clip with them. The story was funny.

The eclipse was awesome! I'm glad you got to see/experience it. What a coincidence that you were coming to the US already and also the correct part of the US to see it!
It might be fun to have Stress' side being all colour buildings and having Iskall's all muted or monochrome. It could be an interesting theme to go with for the murder mystery, having the two factions so close together.
I love the direction the base is going! I think the apartment building section would rly benefit from balconies, so details like the towel and other things like potted plants or string lights or whatever can be added in too and it'll add more dimension
I love the way the base is coming along, and if you want to put more stuff of the flat walls, if its industrial you could add catwalks or scaffolding (not the block but stylized buildings) to cover more space and make places to walk around on and explore. Having buildings on top of each other is also a great way to make use of space, like what is done with that garage and the sugarcane building. It would be cool to also have pipes that stretch out from the building and act like it's giving/receiving things from elsewhere in the area.
Overall im super excited about where the base is going to go from here, and this season already has been so much fun to watch!!

3:40 if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going to see totality. The difference between 99% coverage and 100% coverage is almost literally night and day. (Don't get me wrong though, even getting to see 99% is really cool)
