- Hey everyone welcome to Hold Fast Moto! Today we got through the process of getting the bike some Major upgrades! We put in a S&S 475 cam, Bassani road rage 2 into 1 pipes, screaming eagle air intake, new black push rods and a tune at @mickeycohenmotorsports . Shout out to Mickey and his shop for making this bike the absolute best version of itself, I have not stopped yelling in my helmet since i got this work done. Thank you guys for tuning in! I’ve got a ‘22 street glide special with the 114. I’m doing my cam and cam chest/oil pump etc on Sunday. I’m so giddy already and hearing how stoked you were makes me happy I’m doing it. Glad you’re loving it bro

The bassani fish tail mufflers i ordered come in today for my 99 electra. So excited, test drove a road king with them and was instantly hooked on the sound during decel. Got a 2-1 on my m109r which sounds amazing flooring it on the highway

I like their pipes too and it would sound great with the 475 cam in it! Makes its feel like a whole new bike ! 🙌🏼
Super happy for you brother I love your excitement be safe out there I too have the 475 cam and I was wanting to know if the sound is overbearing like for radio but I have an aftermarket radio
I will say these pipes are loud especially turned and with the cam, I listen to music mainly in my helmet with my Cardo and I have no issues, to be honest I do not use my speakers much I would think city streets you’d be fine but might be a bit louder at free ways speeds with the added wind noise as well. But if your radio set up is aftermarket it may beat that out

I put the 475 s&s kit on my 2017 107 road glide special with bassani DNT's and a power vision black tune... sounds badass and has way more power.

I can relate. I have the same bike as you. I put a hi flow circular air filter and the bike rode the same with more quickness. I then did a sharkroad 2-1 full exhaust and it changed my bike. It doesn't ride like a smooth road glide. My bike became real aggressive. Steroids!
Did you do just the cam and not the oil pump and plate

Which muffler did you install the megaphone out straight muffler? It looks like the megaphone, if I were to guess. Doing the same system and cam upgrade on my 2019 street glide.

How are you liking the pipe on longer rides? I have a 2017 SGS with Reaper(fueling) 465 cam and Rinehart 4" with Tormentor header and thinking a 2-1 is the way to go. I dig the thunderheader, bassani and Rinehart 2-1.
I have been loving it, feels good on long rides still has more then enough whip and crack on the free way to let people know where you are, the bassani I loved also for the look of the pipe, but I also dig the look of the rinehart as well honestly

Is this a roadrage 2 or 3? Megaphone muffler or straight??
It's fun having the power, put a 55 mm Aluminum Intake Manifold on much better too more power. My Star 30/30 cam got me 117 hp &119 tq . Have fun

Mine is still just the belt drive with the 475 cam and tune and it handles if just perfectly, you will absolutely love the work he does, always leave stoked haha

Sounds gnarly! I want a road glide so bad. Definitely need to cam it though, these don’t sound cool when they’re stock 😂 yours sounds very good. The chop is sweet

BIke looks good. I have a 19 Road Glide. I did the 107 to 114 big bore kit with a 475 cam and I have a Bassani 2-1 stainless and the bike absolutely rips, now you just need to swap those bars with all the Thrashin Supply bars and risers and you will be golden.
That sounds like a wicked combo! And I’ve definitely thought about putting a thrashin set up on the bike, definitely may be in its future !
With the cam upgrade how bad is the vibration in the bars
It’s not bad honestly, I will say you’ll notice it more at idle at a stop but when your on the throttle and moving it hasn’t been big enough that I notice it or think about while I’m riding if that makes sense?

Looks sounds great. Would love to see the dyno chart. What HP and torque does that setup make for you? I am thinking of the same setup on a RGST.
For mine I believe the numbers were 107 hp and 110 torq to the rear wheel !

Did you tune the bike immediately after the install? Also I notice that you have the screaming eagle cleaner. So do i. What tuner did you use?
Yeah I took it into the shop to have them add the pipe and dyno the bike they used power vision for the tuner 🤙🏼
I love my bassani.. FAB28 is nice too
It makes such a difference having a pipe on not only for the extra performance but just the sound alone 🙌🏼
While you’re here, two things.. you notice your license plate mount was moving quite a bit? And second, which crash bar do you have on the front? Looks great.. peace

I went to Bassanis website and pulled this, Item Number: 1F51R
Drag Specialites or Parts Unlimited Part No: 1800-2129 I believe this should be the correct numbers, if you go to bassanis website they should show all the pipes they offer and even have some sound bits of what there pipes sound like 👍🏼
