Yes,gear oil,and i don't know how much you are supposed to use,it's not in my documents about the machine. I filled up the housing, and let some space for the air to expand if it's getting warm. Since it's a rotative mechanism, even if you use a reasonnable amount relative to its volume, all will be lubricated as it rotating.
Me neither,i didn't think i would do that for that long. I'm happy to watch videos since 2007 i think,so i make ones too i'm happy to do that. I'm happy to read your comments since that long too : ) when i see the flag,i know who wrote something : )

Thanks for this video, my pump has some issues and you have showed me how i can troubleshoot it. Do you have a website where i can find the seal kit? Thanks
Unless you need an "autonomous" cordless washer,i suggest you to keep it electric. Gas models are quite noisy, and heavier. The question is to know if you have the same water consumption at the same pressure. Maybe electric motors have more torque and require less rpm to deliver the same pressure / water volume per minute. I don't know.
Nice to see you working, professional work ! I have the exact Lavor pump and exact leaking water issue. Can you please share link where you bought the parts ? Couldn't find it in the web
@@tomergir7749 You can pick and choose seals, bearings, valves or whatever you need ,they are sold by kits for seals, but all parts are available ,with "exploded "diagrams per machine. I got lucky and got a shop/seller in my own country,France. You can give me the name/type of your machine,i can look for spare parts online elsewhere than from where i got them via their serial number or i can give you the website adress so you can browse yourself if you want,or even ask them a dealer location elsewhere near you. You will have to use a web page translator if you don't understand French. Send me a mail : clik my logo ,in my channel the adress is in the "about" section.
De l'huile pour nettoyeur haute pression. Moi j'ai mis de l'huile pour engrenages/boite. Il y a du souffre dedans,et c'est bon pour les pièces mécaniques en contact direct l'une contre l'autre.
Cats sleep more than being awake, you would think they are working hard ha ha :-D The pressure washer really needed your touch, from a limp trickle to a powerfull blaster :-D I guessed it was not made in italy, china makes most things, shame really.
I think it's a 10 to 1 ratio of sleep /activity, and one crazy period of complete madness every evening lol The engine is made in China for sure, the pump i can't tell, but certainly too, The only good thing is that they make /made so much of those, that you can get parts still.

The oil coming out at minute 4:00 it is gear oil? Is it different from engine oil? How much gear oil is needed when replacing the old one?

I bought them on the manufacturer's website.
What is the brand /model of your equipment ?
Great work, I am seriously contemplating to convert my electrical unit to petrol-power... I wonder if the pumps run at roughly the same RPM.
