Searching for Urban canal Pike - Night of Redemption

I meet Jay somewhere in the heart of London yet again, in search of the the increasingly elusive pike which inhabit secretly shadowy corners of the urban canal network. Due to a new lack of time in life and in order to cover more area, I resort to lure fishing tactics instead of my preferred baiting techniques.
It would be the first time in several months that I do so, but as night falls I find my quarry. I come so close to success, but today appears not to be the night for it. I return the following day however, determined to change my fate.
Summer is over now, and Autumn is among us.
