I made a virtual world deck that both main, extra, and side only cost roughly $150 (and it was able to beat drytron easily with a crystal wing invoked caliga lockdown making them only able to even try to activate 1 monster effect per turn)

Like 5 years ago, I used Raidraptor Last Strix to go into Ultimate Falcon and Seven Sins, so it's a 1 card 4k summon that is immune to destruction and battle once, and you can do this each turn for free with Kinka Byo. It was my "One Punch Man Exodia" deck that used level 1's like Magical Merchant to dump the deck until you get your Obliterate Trap, and used Ghostricks, Rainbow Kuriboh and Predaplant Sarraceniant to stall, Mystic Piper to draw, and the Pieces to go into Exodia Incarnate...unfortunately my friend had a Dark Law deck so I was not having a fun time.
But nowadays you don't even need your Normal Summon thanks to Alpha Master of Beasts, plus you could turn any XYZ, like 1 card Zoo combos, into 4K Zeus, and for years you can always turn any 2 level 4's into Utopia Double (10,000 ATK), as well as 2 Lv 8's into Draglubion calling Numeron Dragon (9,000-17,000 ATK).
The game has gotten to the point where we can use Season 1 rulings to buff old decks and they'd still lose. Call of The Haunted could be a Soul Charge for 3 vanillas and make them immune to battle and gain ATK, Toons could be get whatever effect they had in Season 1, Machines can be immune to Magic, Gate Guardian can attack 3x and negate 3x per turn, Riyoku can half LP, Graverobber and Mirror Wall don't need 2K LP cost, all of the Gods can have all of their effects, like immunity from all card effects, Obelisk with an Instant Win Condition (Infinite ATK), Ra gains tribute's ATK and paid LP boost and board wipe for 1K, Exodia Necross could be immune to everything too, Seal of Oricalcos effects to the MAX, make Zorc OP as hell, the only things that can't are Card of Demise and Sanctity because they are splashable.

Gorz new effect could be: Summon itself and take control of every monster they control with equal or less ATK than the damage you took. So, if they attack with their strongest, they lose their entire field to you LMAO. Only this time instead of having no other cards on the field, you just need Zrog, the Creator of Darkness to be the last card in your hand. Also, if the opponent has exactly 1 Light and 1 Dark Monster, all monsters on the field return to their original owners, so that way the original Gorz can actually counter it, since neither player will be able to access their extra deck. Oh, didn't I mention that? There could also be a hand trap that lets you discard itself and any other card to add a Lv 7 Fiend from your deck to your hand, so you can add either right when your opponent thinks its safe to attack if you have 2 cards in your hand.
One more thing, the secondary burn effect could be you inflict 4000 points of damage to them. That'll teach Burn Decks some manners.

What if they made an Emissary of Darkness archetype whose gimmick was powerful effects while you control no cards, which sounds a LOT like Psyframes, but you'd still be able to use your cards while you control something, just without the powerful bonuses. Another thing they'd be able to do is use stuff like Imperm and Evenly from hand while they control a card(s)
I feel really bad for that last person. I hope they can find a locals or a part of the community that accepts them. I feel like it takes courage to even go up to a store owner and tell them you feel uncomfortable and for them to respond with such cruelty really sucks. I sincerely hope you find a place to play that accepts you for who you are.
I'm glad there was some consequence for one of the stores in question, but given it's one of several in a local area, I'm sure the communities are shared - People need to be nicer. We're all here to play a card game and have fun

Yh everyone is naming burn cards that are good. I dunno what keyword they looked up burn cards with
Too bad Ring of Destruction got Errata'd. The ones I consider great are Blazing Mirror Force, Gravedigger's Trap Hole, and Lava Golem. Dragoon is great of course, but burn decks tend to have trouble summoning 2 monsters.

the last one is very relatable to me, went to my first local when i was 14 and two people called me the f slur multiple times. aside from basically ruining yugioh for me for a few years, it was just an overall traumatic event that really affected me, since back then i wasn't really secure in my identity as a queer person.

The reason burn decks don't get more support is because the second they get something even remotely good, they instantly turn find a way to abuse it in an FTK, the Yu-Gi-Oh equivalent of asking a hitman to snipe your opponent in chess so he knocks over his king and you win, it requires an insane amount of planning, setup and I mean its impressive, but it takes the fun out the actual game
I appreicate you including the LGBT discussion within the Yugioh community as it true our community has issues with being disciminatory and plain childish when it comes to players not being the same as them be it based on sexuality, gender, or age. Keep up the good work FARFA

I think every 4 summons is balanced since it would land 0+ card advantage like upstart with no cost. Anything better would be too easy for a plus 2 and above.
Yeah. I don't like it cause it relies on the opponent to special summon to draw more cards. But if you keep drawing it after your opponent has their board set up or they don't have a special summon deck
As a brazillian, I totally understand the argentinean dude. Playing the game in countries with busted economy like ours is very hard. All my decks are either rogue or some random bs, because playing the meta or playing decks whose cards are rare and don't have reprints is stuff for the 1%.

@@princesscrystal6410 on big events the top tables are as they are in any country, because there's still people that do have the money to spend, but the lower the tables or the smaller the event, the more you can find rogue decks, or plain weird decks that no one usually plays, but hey, they're cheap and do something... So it's a party of salamangreat, tri-brigade, mystic mine, madolche, dino, and other table 500 decks. I myself used to main cyber dragons just until before the lockdown started.

used to have a casual local event at a library and competitive players kept coming in with meta decks and would trash talk kids using structure decks to learn the game and have fun, one of my friends and I played grave keeper's which caused the competitive players to rage enough to were the library refuses to hold events for yugioh anymore

What the last person was talking about was pretty much the main reason I got out of going to locals; all of them around here are just terrible when it comes to stuff like that. Would be nice to have store owners/Konami at least make a statement about it, but, that's not really likely

I think it's just a sad truth about gaming communities. A lot of gaming communities are just okay with using terms like the "f slur" and make it incredibly uncomfortable for the people around them. If you confront them out it, it makes it worse, so I think it is important to report those situations, hopefully getting those people either banned from the shop, or if the owner doesn't care, get the shop's OTS registration revoked because it's just bad.

More visibility is more views, more views is more revenue. Ergo, by not subscribing you are choosing to not help the channel when you could at no cost to you. Therefore you are hurting the channel via your inaction. QED. They don't all ask for subscribers because it's some RUclips wide bit. It's one of the few metrics by which they can improve their odds of being seen. So if you genuinely like the content, you should subscribe. It costs you nothing and helps them.

I understand your point that it does help the channel to sub. Im not trying to say that doesnt help the content creator. Nobody owes any content creator a sub though, and they arent doing any harm by not subbing. not helping the channel does not equal hurting the channel.

But if you are watching and do enjoy the content, then I'd argue you DO owe the content creator a sub. It's a sort of agreement between consumer and producer. I've certainly unsubscribed from content creators who no longer interest me before. But one of the metrics the algorithm uses to determine video "success" is a ratio of viewers to viewers who are currently subscribed, so by watching and not subscribing you ARE hurting the channel. The algorithm gets convinced that this video is not as important to subscribers and it reduces its recommendation level. And as I said, unsubscribing is also free, so for as long as you enjoy the content you really should subscribe, and once you no longer do you SHOULD unsubscribe for similar reasons. That's just how the platform works.

This way you would draw 1 card for the first summon, than skip one, draw one for the next, skip 2, draw a.s.o
Special summons:1, 2, 3, 4,5,6...
Draws: 1,0,1,0,0,1...
Darklords having a hard one summon per turn while already having a hard once per turn on the effects is just overkill on the restrictions.
