I agree it is pretty fun, but the gunplay is just so boring compared to bf5

Playing on the console looks way better than on the pc, over on pc you get your head blown off every minute, and yes, I am bad at the game, I just want to have fun, but, multiplayer + pc + casual = no fun allowed
let me guess, once season 5 drops and everybody is having fun, they are going to drop the dlc content and thank the community for enjoying the game.
they did it with bf5, they did it with battlefront 2, so i am expecting the same thing here.

Idk why people so mad about m39 I literally NEVER get killed by it. Thing gets a one hit headshot sure, but it’s velocity is some of the weirdest I’ve seen in the game feel like the tank HMG secondary almost lol

At least someone else noticed! Happened with 3, 4, hardline and 5. All launched with a ton of bugs but at the end of their cycle they were fucking awesome games

@Capo Lean never knew about hardline where i started late. BF1 was my first launch game. The time i joined was in may of 2016, heard about the setting of hardline and went directly to BF4
The type 88 machine gun or whatever is actually realy good for a long ranged machine gun if you use the bipod from affar then its a laser

Issue with all the portal weapons is the fact there is nothing to grind for once you unlock them it they change it so attachments are unlockable it would make things so much better.
Almost like you shouldn't have to mindlessly grind for nonsense and should enjoy the core gameplay experience (which is hardly capable with this game )
Yeah. Takes out the little bit of fun that was left in the game. They are ok guns but there are better options. But without a reason to play them I just skip them.
One of their mistakes is the lack of grind for gun camos and specialist skins. If they had a similar gun grind to COD and a similar system to unlocking skins like in BFV where it felt rewarding to earn sick looking outfits, there would be a massive increase in longevity. Sometimes I feel like I’m playing for nothing. Nothing to earn or show off. Sure there’s the final tier skin for each specialist, but all you have to do is use their ability for a long time/a lot of times. Idk, I wish there were more to grind for.

@@swatboi8315 it’s not about showing off. It’s fun to earn things for doing good. You don’t do anything competitively to just “play”. You’re playing to win and earn things. It’s satisfying knowing you mastered a gun or specialist. It actually makes you want to try new things and master new things.
Battlefield has (almost) never kept people playing for the grind. It's always been about the fun and repetitive gameplay. Theres many reasons why so many max level people still play the older Battlefields, such as BF3 & BF4 even after having everything unlocked. I'm not shutting down your point, a grind would be nice for a certain portion of the playerbase, but most people that play Battlefield games are casuals who don't care about unlocking everything.

People don't utilize smoke grenades on this map enough. Not to mention how oblivious people are when enemies are flanking or standing next to each other.
I loved the NPC helo trap music segment, you will think that was ridiculous but was actually pretty effective

T, if you want to have less recoil in bf and mw2 put your fov to max and under the fov slide there will be an option for ads fov affected or something that will decrease your zoom but also heavily decrease your recoil and i really recommend it for aggresive players or cqb
it only reduces visual recoil
Bro stand still ads at a wall and full auto a mag then without moving in any way change the settings do the same thing and it'll look the same lol. Tho in general those settings are better to have like you said

What I don't like about this new wave of fast paced shooters is if you're new to it and mixed in with players that have been at it for a while will make for a long ass learning curve since you'll probably die too quickly to even learn the map.
They added a welcome playlist for new players this season. You only see it if you’re under a certain level.
Everybody has to start somewhere. As a kid it was still motivating to play fps games, even when I got absolutely owned and only camped in corners to get the occasional kill. The trend to make games easier and easier is what‘s killing them actually.

had stopped playing since like 6 months, maybe time to get back in. The new map looks interesting. Kinda reminds me of the BF5 map
dont do it. It feels the same. Just a new map but the gameplay is the same. It is just even more shit with claymores everywhere and even more campers

Honestly, I’ve had a blast with bf2042 since launch. It was objectively bad, sure, but I still had fun. Wingsuiting, minigunning, and turning my smg into a sniper on the fly? All just plainly fun, to me anyway.
