I would just like to mention to all the activists or whatever in the comments saying this is cruel and they should be free that these horses are bred for generations to have the capacity and ability to jump and on top of that they train very well. They do get so much love and attention after a tournament winner or loser. This coming from a jumper and with friends that jump I know. So if these people are thinking it up or watching movies or whatever I would like them to educate themselves a bit better on the subject at least. These people have probably never ridden a horse in their lives and definitely havnt had the special bond these amazing riders have produced with their horses. I agree racing however is cruel and some types and areas in the world do so cruel jumping but the majority is amazing with their animals and it is rude to assume all people treat horses in a bad way. Dressage is another people call cruel. It certainly isn’t. It is one of the most well bonded of all. You can get on any good jumping horse and jump and be amazing but dressage it a connection and becoming one with the animal. It’s beautiful and an art more than a sport. Been riding horses since I was born ,I was born on a horse farm and my dad Would always cool down the horse after riding with me....This would've fit so well with western

So Ill just stick to the old barn where I take lessons on rescued ponies... Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate what my parents are doing for me, and I know that some people can't even afford lessons... But you know the moment when you realise you'll never live your dream? ;-; Edit: horses really destroyed my life... I just literally be out here crying like every day? That surely isn't healthy... And it seems very childish but I can't hold back tears (anyone else). ;-;

at least you can ride some people can't afford to go to a stables and ride and just keep dreaming on if you want something bad enough you'll make it happen and don't worry horses are my life to my horse raven got stolen and i was heart broken i cried for weeks and weeks finally after a year of searching the police found him in an abandoned barn it was like my heart had been mended again it was the happiest day of my life i remember seeing a horse trailer pull up infant of my house and i heard the familiar neigh that i had been waiting to hear for months i ran down the drive and he ran out of the trailer and we ran to each other my baby was finally home and safe don't know what would have happened if he hadn't been found i love him with all my heart so no its not childish if you love something enough its ok to get emotional hope you gat a horse sometime in your life
Why does everyone just saying its nice, what Happens to the people, they say, they love their horse, but the horses have to jump over high Sticks for them, and then jumping higher, have to do dressage, have to Run, running faster, to be the best, the fastest, and if they arent the best anymore they get replaced, like an old toy, changed with a new, better one. So the human get a trophy but the horses don't, they never get a real price, even they have to live in small boxes, without Friends, some don't even see other horses on the Paddock. But why did we start riding? We had respect for these big, beautiful animals we don't know we loved them and we never wanted to do anything they didn't want, but now Most of us do. I think a horse wouldn’t like it to be ridden at all. Burn what do you want? Let all the horses free, in the wild, where they belong. I don’t think so, cause horses don’t belong there anymore (most of them). What you are saying is what they say in movies. A wild horse that gets captured and people want to tame it. But that’s not how it works, cause we are taking about different horses. A horse that is always be tame. A horse that grew up “tame”, I mean the parents, grandparents etc. A horse like that won’t like it to live free, cause he won’t know how he must survive. It’s like a dog. I dog dogs like it more in the human world than wolfs p, cause dogs had been tamed. So, my point is, “doing what a horse like” is kinda impossible, cause humans are dominating kind of everything. I understand your point of view, but that’s the way of life. We are great creatures and despite that, we haven’t learned everything about horses (yet), but all things take time. Maybe horse will have a big evolution in the future, a bigger one than humans and maybe in another lifetime, they will dominate us. We don’t know. ;)
