    Everything I know that is safe and reasonable about riding on the street is tossed out the window on this clip, but that guy can ride a bike!!

      you gotta push it sometimes, knowing when is the key.

      So what do you know about what is coming around the bend on the street? Someone else with a key in their ignition over the yellow line? Yehaaa. That guy has skills, but like those vegas casinos, the house always eventually wins

I remember seeing this two years ago and lo and behold was able to find it with a simple search "harley shredding" We can all see that he is totally rad, but how about the recovery too!? The Harley rider has real chops, but the guy on the Honda isn't even trying. Some bikes are designed to go around corners quickly, others not so much.

    • @Erik.Lundberg
      @Erik.Lundberg 7 лет назад +6

      For being a cruiser it corners quite well. There are harleys with even better lean angle like V-Rod, Fat Bob and Street Bob.

    • @wolfie6320
      @wolfie6320 7 лет назад +12

      Yeah, I think the Harley guy held his weight (pun intended because of Harley's heft) but the rider behind him was staying behind him intentionally. Which isn't a bad thing. Passing around those corners could be a deathwish on public roads.

    • @neversurrender5798
      @neversurrender5798 7 лет назад +9

      Honestly though I think some people like the bigger bikes exactly because of that. A sport bike has to be pushed so much faster and harder to get to any sort of level where it doesn't feel easy once you've gained a certain level of ridership.
      I'd rather get the feeling of a challenging ride at 30-60 through the canyons like this rather then 80-100.

    I'm not sure why everyone is so baffled/impressed by this. He's riding that Harley exactly the same as someone would on a very lowered sportbike or naked. Try as he might, his cornering potential is still very low as the Fireblade following him is almost idling in comparison to what it's capable of. It's an unusual sight for sure as most Harley riders are boomers that just want to parade float around a strip of bars and can't ride for shit, but I'm not seeing anything here really that crazy other than that he's willing to push so hard he almost loses it like 10 times from dragging the pegs.
