I rode and race dirt bikes when younger, (still ride them), but when I got a Harley in 2008, my entire driving philosophy changed for safety reasons. I am not worried about bike handling, because I never push any limits on the road. I am only worried about wild life crossing the road, (again, not speeding and probably slower than the limit), and all other cars/trucks. My philosophy changed to, "Just stay away from everybody the best you can. They can not hit me if I don't let them near me.", and I carried that philosophy into my car driving also. Not going to work for rush hour traffic, (that I don't ride anymore). But it works everywhere else pretty good. I did not finish the vid, but I am pretty sure none of these people ride like me.
I had a person pull out infront of me while I was doing 60mph hit the car did 6 frontflips in a second landed on my butt and hit my forehead inbetween my legs folded like a lawn chair then realized the light turned green behind me and realized at the same time I couldn't feel my legs grabbed my legs by the fist full of my jeans turned my self around just in time for 2 cars to pass me sitting down facing traffic on the dotted line dressed in all black at nigh pulled out my cell phone turned the flash light app on and held it up. Had a friend pass away from getting run over after his accident so I knew it was crucial to get out of the road. I hit the ground so hard I didnt know you could hit the ground that hard and live. Must have hit the ground with atleast 20gs of force now I ride not trusting a soul. Point is if your new at riding dont assume that person sees you and isn't going to pull out or this could be you. as a rider of a motorbike for 20 years, car for 18 years and go karting for 10 years i can say that most of these near death experiences were due to speeding over the limits. If you wanna ride fast got to a closed road or a speedway. Riding in a busy day a road full of curves with double the speed of traffic is like russian roulette
I enjoyed riding alone than going out with a group or buddy. I never compete with others but myself. And i never ride fast on a public road when i see there are some other vehicles. I ride fast on express ways when i see the road is clear and slow down if I see vehicles or bikes coming or tagging along.

I’ve had some variation of probably half of these happen within my first year or two of riding. Particularly when riding with groups of people I didn’t know. There’s something about that adrenaline you feel, especially vs riding alone. Never had anything else like it. I look back and wonder how many guardian angels it must’ve taken to see me thru it all and eventually concluded they won’t always be there to see me thru my own stupidity. So I backed off all that silliness long ago and really try to ride to appreciate the fresh air and the view these days. YMMV.
Just imply this simple logic. A thief will get caught one time at least in his/her life time no matter how smart he/she is (Someday gonna be pay day). People like us avoid or reduce the chances of this inevitable fate by managing risk. Maximum safety and no to rash driving.

Racked up 8000 miles in 2 years from zero miles on the odometer, I want to share my safety experience. 1-Start in a quiet empty big wide lot in order to get used to the Machine for at least 2 weeks. 2- start riding in town away from traffic preferably during holidays when most people are home 3- (bold & very important on the list) Turn off that damn phone while riding and keep it off your eyesight. 4-scan the Road & look at motorists & what they are doing instead of the vehicle itself . 5- be positive & happy while riding, being angry, tired or depressed is counter productive in your learning experience. 6-don’t take that definition “everybody there is out to kill you” as a form of pessimism and danger avoidance. A lot of motorists are kind and will always consider your presence and share the road with you safely. Always wave a “thank you” if someone lets you turn or wait for you before they make a left turn while you are coming. Be a classy well mannered ambassador for the motorcycling community. 7- be cautious around pick up trucks, teenage drivers, Lexus, BMW’s & Infiniti’s 👍
As everyone said, the problem is the speed, I'm from Colombia and there's part of the guilty in our roads (oil paint, pot holes and lots of tarmac, sand and dust). But in my country, if you're not the faster, that makes you a bad driver, everyone dreams about and Litter Bike, to have a big engine before safety and cornering as a pro. In that road called Bogotá - Villeta Highway or "Villetodromo", lots of guys died because speed and lack of skills, I lost friends there, but some others don't get the point and still driving like that.
You nailed it exactly. I have seen many riders killed and maimed over the years by riding exactly like this. 99% are young men trying to show off and prove themselves to their pals. I live in Europe and have been riding for the past 47 years.
I rarely go above 100-110 kmph, that too when the road is less congested or empty, I mean you can't know what other drivers gonna do. So, it's better to slow down when you see a car or large vehicle and on corner too. I don't believe any rider on the road, I think they're just gonna take a wrong turn or a sudden break.
For those that don't understand Jog into a pole or a wall and see how it feels Then go 200km on a bike and then times the hit you did while you were jogging by 1000 times Feels good don't it
Def aint no joke. N cagers dont understand they could kill or cripple us at 10 mph. Been in one major accident n now i ride like everyone is trying to kill me.

You can still have fun on a nice road when the time is right, but doing this sort of thing when there's a lot of traffic is just asking for trouble.
@@vyrnmn road is not made for have fun. is meant to take u from point A to point B. if u want have fun go on a circuit.
Yup it helps a lot to ride with experienced older riders too! Start doing weekend poker runs with a local club like a family type AMA club. You will learn the correct ways to ride in a pack! And have a great time with decent people. These kids here are all competing for the "Darwin's Award" !
Not anymore. With all the idiots, druggie's and drunks on the road, it's best not to ride anymore. Let's not forget the texters. My riding buddy for years just got killed by one, and he was the best rider I ever met in my 60 years of riding.
these riders are all looking for their final destinations. Motoring is also about safety and responsible driving not about the speed limit of your bike. If you wish to test your bike speed limit, go to the race track and do whatever you want until your lungs explode to its limit.

These people are donors on wheels ... Leave them be. I'm waiting for a transplant !!!
It's so sad though that they ride the way they do and yet think they are sooo cooool .....
They even think that they are good pilots !!!! AND they film themselves to prove it .......
Luckily organs don't come with genes.
All part of the fun they say
No, 1:30 was blue cars fault, just wait till a loaded big rig comes around.
I hope you don’t find a donor.
Rider going at high speed and having a very short time to react. Random guy with a problem with his vehicle appears*. Rider: OMG!!!!!! So irresponsible!!!!!
Just watching some of these guys gets my blood pressure up, some of those blind corner moves are straight up hoping everything will be cool. There's a time and place for sketchy riding and alot these are not the place or time, wishing all these riders a safe good ride.
@1:20 Stopping to talk at a blind corner. BRILLIANT!!!
Yeah, but that stuff is gonna happen and you've gotta deal with it. If you go so fast that you can't deal with hidden things around the corner then sooner or later you'll hit it.
@@jamesrindley6215 You aren't really trying to justify dumb and dumber stopping traffic to chat instead of pulling off the road are you?
@@atuck6082 Don't quote me on things I didn't say, of course I don't justify stopping on blind bends. I said you have to ride at a speed so you can stop in the distance you can see. If you don't then sooner or later you will crash.
@@jamesrindley6215 That's only partially accurate and anyone living on extremely curvy roads knows this. If you're on a curvy road, there is a "trust" factor. You're trusting that no one has just stopped in the road or they have removed their disabled vehicle. If there is an emergency and your car does stop around a blind corner, you go around the corner and give other drivers early warning of danger ahead.
@@atuck6082 You could call it "trust" but I'd call it rolling the dice. Doing this caused me to crash once when I rounded a corner to find the road flooded. Since then I've been more careful.
best skills a rider can have is anticipation and foward thinking! i dont see alot of it in this video
I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid incidents like these, not been riding that long but awareness + a sense of your own mortality helps a lot
When people that don't know any better drive too fast and get lucky...
Rubber down fellas ✌ my legs came too they just got knocked numb luckily.
God bless you brother. Much love and respect!!! Thank you for this testimony!!
Glad you got your legs back. In the USA MX racing, they call that injury a "stinger". I don't know why.
Thank god these guys ride like this and record it and share it with us. Makes me a better and safer rider. Thanks guys!👏👏👏

But important thing is that they say at the end of the video RIDE SAFE... what a bullshit...
"Getting away with it .." is NOT the sign of a good rider. These guys won't even make good cadavers for anatomical donations.
I don't agree. They were trying to kill themselves
What abilities?
Doesn’t take any abilities to drive like an idiot on a bike. One split 2nd is all it takes to injure/kill another person that’s not on the bike
Welcome to India moments 😂
as a rider of a motorbike for 20 years, car for 18 years and go karting for 10 years i can say that most of these near death experiences were due to speeding over the limits.
1:45 I don't think dude on that suzuki was using his front brakes

Same, A racer will get caught one time at least in an accident in his/her life time no matter how skilled he/she is.

Yea the situations on the roads are shitty but if you ride like these people and you can't stop or manoeuvre your bike at those speeds the way you want to. 1-Start in a quiet empty big wide lot in order to get used to the Machine for at least 2 weeks.
2- start riding in town away from traffic preferably during holidays when most people are home
3- (bold & very important on the list) Turn off that damn phone while riding and keep it off your eyesight.
7- be cautious around pick up trucks, teenage drivers, Lexus, BMW’s & Infiniti’s
👍
It's always good to ignore the car in fronts brake lights. There are some death dodgers in here but he will catch them.
