Hi Larry, so glad to see you posting again. So very sorry and saddened about your Brother. I have followed his recipe videos as well as your garden videos for quite sometime. Steve was such a fantastic person and so multi-talented. He will be remembered for his lifetime of light, laughs and music he shared with his fans. I lived in Nashville when he was on the air with Ralph Emery. I will never forget when he came out from under the desk breathlessly and hilariously commented on Ralph Emery's smelly socks! Steve and his little pal Shot Gun Red made the world roll with laughter!

This system needs thinkering, if you apply a rope, in the middle of each bucket, with direct access to water, the problem is solved ! That simple ... What i dont like about the system is that it is not mosquito unfriendly ! it should be more covered!

What you see is a bungee cord (red) to hold the bucket down since they appear topheavy.

Doesn't it attract mosquitoes?????
Only stagnant water draws mosquitoes. By keeping the water level low the plants suck up enough water so it is not laying around long.
