I’m pretty sure the reason for the non-DS tracks is that because there are actually 5 tracks per cup in the game, they needed to fill up those spots with something
Yeah, SMK has 20 tracks, I wish the other tracks was like the GameCube retros in MKDS.

Because 1, the music for both games were mainly composed by Kenta Nagata. 2, N64 and GCN Rainbow Road have the same chorus.

I’m making a similar kind of hack except it’s Mario Kart Wii tracks in super Mario kart. Right now I have Luigi Circuit, Moo Moo Meadows, and Block Plaza complete, and Mushroom Gorge WIP. I’m also making custom tiles and adding funky Kong and even bikes (they won’t be outside drifting though, I know how to edit sprites but not code like that) The tracks will also be scaled bigger and more accurately.
You must find a clean Super Mario Kart ROM. If the ROM size ends with an even number is headerless while a ROM size ending with an odd number is headered. Check the header requirements for the patch. If they match, then patch it. If they don't match, add/remove the ROM's header.

Some people don’t like it how the cpu players can use items that you can’t. Well... the CPU players can’t use item boxes. And Mario and Luigi can spam stars you say? The stars don’t make them faster, just invincible. Put that into consideration
Mario Kart DS is the best Mario Kart. It has the best battles, the best tracks, and the best multiplayer gameplay. It was the first Mario game I ever played and I have so many great memories with it.

That second track was a meme because SMK has 5 tracks per cup while DS has 4 so they have to make a meme track.
I mean, if you call Moo Moo Farm a meme sure. All of the non-DS tracks are actually tracks from other Mario Kart games. Though tbf Bathaniel has said that he prefers Moo Moo Meadows to Farm so considering is brother’s opinion it probably is a meme to him.
