I am fairly new to quilting and love your presence, you are calm and relaxed and seam so confident in what you are doing without the theatrics. I would love more videos. Thanks for this one!

So nice to see a video on someone working on a large quilt! Most of the videos made they have cut down on the size...

Someone shared with me to put cutting mats on the pantograph table area on the back of my long arm frame and drape the quilt over the frame bars for trimming the quilt. It works out so much better than trying to use my smaller cutting table. I bought a 90 deg L shaped ruler from the hardware store for my corners. Thanks for sharing your squaring tips.

How did someone so young get so knowledgeable? Can I ask how long you have been using a long arm machine for? Before that did your job involve sewing? I have been sewing most of my life & now I’m old & thinking of getting a long arm quilting machine. However I’m wondering if I have enough years left to become proficient at this craft 🤣🤣😂😂. You just make everything look so easy & are so very good at what you do. Can I ask if you do quilting for a living as in your videos you mention that you have customers & are doing what they require. I don’t doubt that you perhaps teach also as you are so confident & good at what you do. I would love to know how you first got started in this craft & how long it took you to become so good at it. From an old lady who is very envious of your skills. 😍😊❤️☺️☺️💕

This has really helped me because I was under the wrong impression that the whole quilt had to be lying flat and open before measuring/cutting. Thank you

I use my largest SQUARE ruler so I can square the corners first before trimming the sides. You need to be sure you have a 90 degree angle at the corners. Assuming you aren't doing a scalloped edge.

Question: do you ever use laser-guided levels for squaring up your quilts?? Thanks in advance.

Do you not square up your corners to make them a 90-degree angle first?

This doesn't show squaring off. It just shows how to randomly cut the edge. How do you make the corners square?

Its frustrating to hear "this is how you can start better next time" when you need help *now*
