Thanks so much for this tutorial, Lauren! I knew vaguely that I could tale my measuring tape to a bar but didn’t quite figure out where or how. This was perfect.
Thank you for the video. I have one of these but I attached it across the front of the workspace so when I advance the quilt I can keep the quilt from going off kilter. BTW, what pattern is that beautiful quilt on your longarm or is it a whole cloth quilt? I'd love to see how you decide to quilt it.
Thanks so much for a great video. I have one of the tape measures and I put it on temporally to see how I'd like it. I found it to be very useful and use it on every quilt. I was wondering how to attach it more permanantly and was thinking about using Velcro. I think your recommendation of double sided tape is a much better solution. Your video has come at the perfect time for me! Thank you
Lauren, did you say you have them in the shop? If so, I can put on my monthly thread order. Also, do you have a video of how to readjust leaders as they are getting older and a bit stretched out.
This is a great topic I will add it to my list. You can add the item to your monthly subscription just put the order in and select "in person pickup" then just email me about it. I'll pull and set aside!
@@BoldNotionQuilting thanks!! I just went thru all the threads I want, put in my wishlist so I can print and look at my inventory. I've been quilting like crazy at end of year and need a reset on Threads. Also the tape measure! Thanks for the quick reply. I'm doing this today.
Then you have to get creative with using something like that. There are tape measures like the zero cwnterr that aren't for mounting just laying over the quilt

It's a printed panel from honest fabric! I haven't quilted it yet just going through the motions lol

What if you don't have a dead bar?
