    Thanks for this! Why wouldn't it be level on jack stands? Or did you only have it up on two of them? Would it be ok on four?

      I only had the front off the ground. You shouldn't need 4 jack stands for this job. Just lower the car to drain the rest of the oil and put the drain plug back in, fill and job done. :)

      @jama211 Yes it would be alright if it was on 4 jackstands as long as its the same level it would be if on the ground/tires.. and with it being on 4 stands you wouldn't have to mess with taking the tire on & off plus lowering & lifting the car multiple times while draining & replacing drain plugs..

    Clutch line fluid, clutch master or clutch slave would be my first things to check. Why are you going for fluid when its much easier to at least check your clutch fluid. You should go on the Prelude subreddit to get better help.

    Did changing the fluid helped??

      The fluid change acually made it worse by a lot, if you watch the second part of the vid I try and fix it but it was never the same.

    Been having these similar problems when at dead stop 1st won't go and I gotta go from second into first gear which is counterproductive but it allows me to go into first. Same with reverse when it won't go in or it's hard to pop it into it.
    Did Changing the fluid help or could it just be a new clutch is needed.

      When I started this project, in the back of my mind I thought this was a bad idea (leave things be) and changing the fluid made things a lot worse and the transmission is no good.

      @@jayfix6126 so did it do more good or bad?

      Sounds more like your clutch slave, clutch fluid or clutch master, all which can be tested without touching the clutch. Go on the Prelude subreddit for more help.

    do you know what dimensions the sealing washers were?

    • @numberpirate
      @numberpirate 2 года назад +1

      Drain plug washer part number is 94109-14000 14mm size.
      Fill plug washer part number is 94109-20000 20mm size.
      This stuff is easily looked up vs asking in youtube comments. I am the rarity in answering you, good luck otherwise.

      @@numberpirate I’ve been looking everywhere for any information on the dimensions of these 2 different washers and everything says something different. Where do you go for your info? I’d really appreciate the help in knowing where to get reliable and accurate info when it comes to oem parts and fitments.

    Thanks for the video, very helpful. What do I do if I don't have a pump? Could I just stream it in with a clean tube and a funnel?
