Thanks for making this video! I was trying to find out how to emulate DSi games and wanted to know how MelonDS works. :)
The reason why there's an option to rotate the DS screen is because there's some games that are designed to be played that way, or some have moments where in real life you'd have to rotate the DS to play. Like brain age for example. Hope that makes sense! :D

Screen rotation is for games like Hotel Dusk where you hold the DS like a book. Or if you just feel like playing sideways!

Should I emulate using DS mode or DSi mode? Since the DS is older than the DSi but DSi emulation is experimental.

What about DSi exclusive games that are usually in the .cia format?
You just switch that format over to nds should work like normal

i can't play asphalt 4 how to fix it, it says an error occured i have done input all dsi bios and firmware and nand also dsi sd card too but nothing happen for asphalt 4
It's an emulator, so it's not perfect. If you have a decent computer, try DeSmuME. It focuses on accuracy more than speed, so you might be able to run it there.
