This helped. I’m trying the subscription and got it to work on the V-jet and H-jet but was bummed out when I saw in the TBM charts was grayed out. Found you vid 👍😊
Oops, at 01:29, I say you only need Simlink for the charts. That's true for getting the charts in the G3000, BUT for the Navigraph In-Game Panel (what I showed in the toolbar) version, you need to download their installer for MSFS to install that in-game panel add-on. It's available in the Navigraph MSFS Beta forums. My bad!
Since they're in the G3000, I bet we'll see them in the G1000 and G5000 too at some point. Can't wait for that... to use those in so many different planes will be amazing. The Working Title team even recently showed some previews of the G1000 NXi. So excited.
Hi bro! my FS2020 PC in my case the database status option does not appear enabled, I followed all your instructions, I already have navigraph and sim link but when I enter the plane from the G3000 the database status icon does not appear enabled
According to Working Title (on their Discord server), the G3000, CJ4, and 530/430 will follow the path of the G1000 NXi. Early access in the Marketplace, then eventually replace the defaults in the sim :-)
Nice one Kip. Think I’m going to get this all setup soon. One question I had for you (or others here) after my life early research into GA IFR flying is... How do you decide what approach to fly; VOR, ILS or RNAV? Can you decide during flight planning in real life or does the controller dictate it all? Cheers
My understanding as a non-real-world pilot is... The runway and approach in use will be based on the current wind, weather, and even airport congestion, and the controller will assign you the actual approach you're flying (I have seen real-world pilots on RUclips request a specific approach from a controller for practicing, but I'm not sure how common this is). During flight planning, ATIS is the most useful as it will have the latest weather and runway information, including which runways and approaches are active at the time. If ATIS isn't available, you'll have to take a best guess at the active runway and approach based on the weather (wind, visibility, cloud levels). Good visibility and clear? Probably visual. Low-level clouds? ILS or LPV approach if available. Whatever you do plan can change by the time you get to your destination, so you just have to be ready to react to a new approach or runway being assigned. Constantly changing weather is why controllers confirm you have the latest ATIS (updated every hour or so) information on arrival -- "confirm you have information Juliet". Hope that helps a bit :-)
Do you have an upgraded TBM 930? My MFD doesn't have anywhere close to the options you are showing and definitely does not have a utilities button. Am I missing something here?
@@KipOnTheGround Got it. Do you know where I can find instruction on how to install mod's? I've never installed one yet in this sim. Thanks for the awesome vids.

This is great news for the TBM! Looking forward to trying out the charts.

Great Vid thanks. Informative with no waffle.
Thanks for the in depth info.
Nicely explained. Thank you.
Really cool mod, thank you!
I cannot see the Charts icon in the MFD. Please how do I get full MFD functionality like yours? A thousand thanks. Jan
Integrated charts are so cool.

I have the same problem as you. Were you able to enable it to work?
It would be sick if added into the Market place like the G1000 NXI

Very well done...and no British accent ! Lol 😆

@@KipOnTheGround Thanks Kip, certainly did. Plenty more tutorials and practice needed I think!
Hello all, I push the button for the track pad & does nothing, you sell the magic button or what am I doing wrong... Thank you in advance /Figo...
How do you get the green circle thing in the PFD like the true attitude thing. I have the mod but can’t get it

It’s part of the G3000 mod, you can find it linked in the video description. Enjoy :-)

Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks again for your help.
It seems like you have to activate each and every time you fly. At least in my experience.
I love this mod but it really destroys my FPS and I've got a fairly high end system. I lose about 8-10 frames with it installed, devastated 😢
DLSS support can't come soon enough for MSFS... every other major game is implementing it :-(
@@HughJassol_ How do you know you'll lose 10fps? How many fps do you get now?? You can't afford $10 to try it??
How will you know if you don't spend $10 to try it?? I'm running and I'm sitting at KJFK running 40fps with charts on my display.
I don't loose any fps at all with Navigraph and WT-3000, you must have some other problem.
I’m broke thanks to my ex-wife. Don’t get married fellas.
