Press start within 3 frames after pressing your button to select a character to get the "evil" version.

As someone who knows their fighting games, this is actually a very solid one. This was made back when Thunderbolt was being made, and since digitized sprites were really big with fighting games, Kaneko went with great gameplay instead of flashy fatalities.
