So if this makes you feel any better: I was on academic probation and dismissed from CU because I had a 1.7 GPA. I had to go to a community college for two semesters in order to bring my GPA up enough to be allowed back. I'm now in law school. Grades are bullshit and don't accurately reflect your potential. It's all about personal growth and what you as an individual can bring to the table.

To be honest, if I were in a hiring position I'd take someone like you over a person who breezed through 4 years of college with a 4.0 every semester. Because you and I have both shown we can overcome adversity and hardship to find success. And that says so much more about a person than their grades.

I'm surprised they tell you the cutoffs ahead of time. Here at the UW they just enter your final grade, without ever telling you the curve of the cutoffs

I got a 0.88 gpa my first semester of engineering 😂 I’m now at 3.4 in my third year haha ultimately grades don’t determine how smart you are 🙌
