@@Gogetandre Knull is basically the verb "to fuck" in Norwegian (and Swedish if I remember correctly). It has no other meaning. It's never used as swearing either. It has one meaning and that's it. I would know, as I'm Norwegian.
This was an informative video about Knull, and it taught me a few things I didn't already know about him. If Sony is serious about their future plans, I'm curious to see how Knull's will play out.
I’m pretty sure that is Sony pitted every single one of the 900+ Marvel characters they have access to against Knull they’d still be totally outmatched.
It’s been decades since I read it. But, I thought in Secret Wars number 8 when that costume was first introduced Spiderman was in space with the heroes and villains and his costume was destroyed. Another character … Puma or something had just used the exact same machine to replace their costume. Spider-Man gets in the machine and comes out with this whole new look. Then years later they decide … he got a living symbiote. Not anyone else who used the same machine. They got regular costumes. Spider-Man, instead, got a symbiote that itself could make Spider-Man any costume he wants. That’s what the space machine does. It gives some people costumes and other people alien life forms. Then DECADES later they decide that the spider logo is this whole other thing? That’s lame. The black costume is dope. Deciding it’s a symbiote was lame. Later deciding that the symbol is something else is incredibly lame.
I still cant believe they didn't just immediately retcon this character and are still rolling with one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen all these years later
... I am likely going to skip this one. Because I want Sony to stop making these crap films that only serve to dilute the overarching story and confuse audiences.
Knull is nobody. He's in the movie for MAYBE a minute and contributes nothing to the movie. Also, in the comics he's trash, and one of the worst things to happen to symbiote mythology in the entire history of symbiote mythology. He completely ruins the entire concept of Venom and the symbiotes.
He’s literally in the movie for 60 seconds entirely 🤣

Tomorrow, Knull makes his debut in Norwegian cinemas. It will be glorious! 😅
