I think I contacted a company that was the lowest quote but then charges. $89 processing fee, why? Do all of them do that?

So if a quote is not guaranteed when do we learn are final or set price ? Also if you have a set moving date would you recommend having your car transported ahead of time ? For example if I’m moving June 1st would I need to book a transport around the middle of May ?

Sure. So basically what we are referring to in this video, is simply the initial quotes you'll receive online when you request a quote. From that point, what happens is that the broker will attempt to move the vehicle at a price below what they quote you, but if they can't find a carrier at a number that allows them to make money, then your car will keep sitting around on load boards endlessly. This is especially problematic if you are on a tight schedule, or you have hard dates that you have to move the vehicle by. There simply isn't any time to wait around. That's why these "low quotes" almost always lead to problems, because who has an endless amount of time to wait around? At the end of the day people seem to want speed, safety, and efficiency over pricing almost every time. But in answer to your question, once a carrier has inquired into us, or the broker your doing business with, and agreed to move the vehicle at a particular price, the broker will communicate that offer to you. At that point, the pricing becomes final because a carrier has agreed to a final rate to move the vehicle.

And in your case if your moving 06/01 , then yes, you'll for sure want to move the car prior to you departing. And any kind of guarantee of a June 1 pickup, is almost guaranteed to be a disaster. So you'll want to move it at least 2-5 days prior to you departing . But other factors come into play also, such as, do you have someone to take delivery of your cars if they arrive to their destination before you do? -- or if the transporter cancels, do you have someone in your current city to hold the vehicles until they can be picked up if you have to leave? So there are many factors that have to be considered. You can simply text us at 913-215-3113 for further questions about your specific move, or email us at mx1transport@gmail.com. Thanks . ATD
