Good video!!! I’m a car hauler as well and I tell people the same thing that you just said with not having to wait on anyone is the best part! I agree that the loading just comes with time and experience of putting the puzzle together.
Worst part is the the scamming dealers trying to find the smallest damages. to pay for the transport costs. Something needs to be done with these high claim dealers
Good content can you talk about loading and unloading and the reasons behind loading that way, as well as your body out the window while loading how do you position your body. Keep growing young father.
I'm a car hauler myself ant those 3 cons are just car hauler specific. Otherwise,I agree with the pros. I like this job because it makes me move and think. It's like a 3D tetris. 😁
I do like the fact that car hauling keeps you in shape. I was hauling for a little bit. But I would have to do it on the owner operator side. I have my own truck Volvo VNL 780
Just applied to cassens transport. The pay Is w2 salary is 1500 to 1800 per week union job local transport. 4 weeks training 18$ hour while training. I believe they start you hauling 3 or 4 cars. My question is do you think that's a good job. I just recently graduated cdl school
I’m getting into car hauling with no truck and trailer experience haha, but I’m the type of person who wants to be the best in the room. I’m very athletic and love learning when I put my mind to it. Someone (a freind) is offering me a gig for a backup driver. 2000$ a trip while training . Do you think this is a good opportunity?
In a future video can you give some insight on the articulate section of the tractor deck? They just gave me a new truck and trailer identical to yours. The Last truck I had the sliding top deck on the tractor
Where did u train ? Does your company train >. Household pays more or same probably u don’t know about that , not just heavy haul,, I made 15k gross one month half of it cash 💰,, I did household for 2 yrs hard work but time to switch to car hauling which is piece of cake for household movers lol,,
Where do you like to take your rest breaks? I know you guys are real long. Must be tough finding parking. Also curious what its like to back one of those bad boys.
Backing one of them gets pretty difficult in between objects but not impossible! I mostly park by curbs or at end if fuel pumps or by cat scales to long and difficult to fit in a regular spot
how do you get paid? by car by hour by mile? for example i work for giant tiger here in canada, i get paid $70 cash for every night i sleep in the truck. i also get paid by the hour and a bonus if i work weekends.

Now you have me overthinking about the trailer being too low and get stuck in rail roads and get ran over by a train I had never taught about that
This is more of the day & life of a car hauler
