That truck is absolutely gorgeous. I hope I can work my way into driving something that nice. Driving a 9 car is my future goal in the car hauling industry. Keep up the great vids man!
I had the same problem with the decking on my last Lohr trailer. Bowing really badly and witgin the 1st year riping the holes in the decking and flippers. And the hedrack cracking and splitting apart in numerous places
@carcarriertv love the videos! You do a great job showing your work! I've been following you for a while now and i see you have switched companies! I want to know if united road is still a good company to apply for starting fresh in car hauling or should i be looking somewhere else? I have ten years experience driving and eventually I'm looking at even owning my own truck.
I seen on some of our older ones the deck starting to bow in on the trailer and head rack to the point where they are cracking. And I have to admit I love STI but it is a big risk, but I take all my pictures to cover me.
@@CarcarrierTv dude I stay right next to Ellenwood where you delivered last time lol. Let me know when your schedule to be back in Atlanta. If im free ill pull up, I wanna see your new rig brother!
Delivering S.T.I. sucks! Had a Freightliner sprinter dealer in Wisconsin try to pin factory damage on me despite getting it signed off on at the pickup yard...
Yea I’m not a fan now sometimes we just have to buy I try very hard not to. Now as for anything with damages whether signed off on or not we’re not allowed to STI the units.
Does waddle pay for the entire family for health insurance coverage and how much is it per month? Heard it’s a great company. Got my application in and the recruiter Purnell said maybe in October he’s gonna be putting on some drivers. I’m still with United Road but it’s getting weird here.
So no they only pay for the driver if I remember correctly. The insurance is more then what United’s is but I don’t know exactly how much I’m paying but I have pretty much everything they offer and I budget 1200 a month. Also from what I’m hearing from a lot of the drivers it sounds like the union is becoming a pretty strong likelihood of them being in there.
Yea I’ve heard they’ve lost like 20 yards so yea the union can’t do much if there’s nothing to haul. As for pay it’s looking like 120-140 this year but it took me about 4 months to figure out a run that worked well for me and pretty profitable. But I’ll also say I’m in the lowest paying lane here from what I hear from other drivers but I like the run so I’m sticking to it
@@CarcarrierTv I’m willing to run whatever lane is the best paying even if it keeps me out a little bit longer. I’m out for 4-6 weeks with United now so I could handle 2-3 weeks out and be just fine.
LOHR is the same as Delevan... they bought the company 1998 so they aren't new to the game, they have just invested more money and made a push to renew the company. Also... mine is a bottom loader and the truck package is garbage.
lol it’s still broken so I have to use my wife’s on the weekend. And now that I have 3 kids playing sports on the weekends time to edit has been hard to find lol.
Hi brother. I am looking for job. do you have a chance for refer some company for me. Not UN road or Virginia. I would like to work for small company where appreciate drivers. Thank you. Be safe.
@Ahilesification OK so up that way you have online auto connection out of Buffalo Tom shanks in Binghamton brothers in Pennsylvania delta out of jersey fine line pa Ik there’s a few more that I’m forgetting

Keep working towards it you’ll make it. I love the truck so it’s definitely a goal I’d keep pushing for

Yes I’m not a fan of the bowing but well just have to wait and see if they hold together well or not. And I do the same if I have to sti anything
Wait when you coming to Atlanta!? I'll love to meet you brother!
I deliver in Atlanta normally twice a week

@DDyke it’ll be probably next week Tuesday I’d say but shoot me an email
I was worried that you got out of the RUclips game
lol nope broke my laptop so hopefully this new one will work well
I was watching your other video and put in an application at United. I see you are no longer there. Where are you now? Will they train?
Hey bro, do you know anything about owner operator position there? Thanks

How about fluid film on those rails
Never heard of that what is it?
What endorsements & experience do you need to haul cars? This looks fun!
You don’t need any endorsements just your class a
@@CarcarrierTv any experience?
😅😅😅@@slimm-xh9jd
Does United Road give you the option to pick a sleeper, or are they all daycabs?
If they have one available at the yard your running out of they used to let you pick
LOHR shares just went up 5 points!…😂

@@CarcarrierTv the union won’t do much good if there’s no freight left. United is losing contracts left and right. Appreciate the info.

Curious,,could you use a Segway to get to your vehicles and stage them?? Do you think it would be worth it??
No there not allowed at railyard or auctions. Plus there’s nothing wrong with walking. That’s the best part of car hauling
In my opinion they don’t do well when it comes to big units. I always hear guys complaining they can’t make height
Yea on full size SUVs and trucks idk yet haven’t put any on but o will say I seem to make height easier with the Lohr then my last trailer
hi friend can i ask you one question how much money can a carhouler owner make per month or week👍
Depends how busy and are you talking owner op or company driver
Scale it out empty yet?
Yea this rig scaled out 41,800
@@CarcarrierTvvery impressive 🤟🏼 great review very thorough and honest!

Wait till your trailer frame cracks.
Hopefully it won’t but we’ll see
Hey also good luck on the new adventure with Accelerated I hope it works out well for you.
You can tell thats a new Pete. The hood squeak is unbearable 😂.
lol your telling me
@@CarcarrierTvput some grease on the rubber blocks up on the firewall you’ll be squeak free
@brandonmorrow844 I will have to try that because it’s the worst lol
@@CarcarrierTv lol I heard it in the video came to the comments to see who else heard 🤣 but the grease trick works
