- The Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Drying Towel is the softest, shaggiest, and most-absorbent microfiber drying towel ever made. It’s the fastest and safest way to dry any vehicle! Just like a woolly mammoth, this towel is gigantic! Normal microfiber towels are 16’’ x 16’’ square; the Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Drying Towel is an enormous 36’’ x 25’’ x 1’’. Watching professionals clean cars is so satisfying
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Exactly the point right there bud anyone can do anything. Learning how to do it properly is the key. Believe me as a powdercoater who literally worked with paint for years. You can mess it up pretty easy by taking care of it improperly
These videos are so great. Nice to see a company actually assist their customers and make them better at using their products. Really love this company and these products.
Glad you enjoyed the video!

I love the wooly mammoth. I can’t dry Ina minute but I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it dries it in 1 go
Gotta love the Woolly Mammoth!!
How do you recomend to get the towel dry to contiues drying the car?
Hey! Use Microfiber Wash to gently clean your microfiber goods using warm water and dry on Low Heat or Tumble.
@@ChemicalGuys thanks for your time!
I just bought the wolly mammoth. I love this towel. My question is, after drying your car. Do you squeeze out the water and let it air dry for the next car wash? Or do you put it in the wash after every car wash, and tumble dry? I also bought the microfiber detergent.
Hi Eddy! Depending on how often the Woolly Mammoth is used it can either be left to dry or if it is going to be stored for a while it should be washed and dried first.
@@ChemicalGuys Thank you so much for the tip. I wash once a week so I was originally thinking to wash and dry the wolly mammoth to store. I bought a couple extra for family and they LOVE them. Thank you so much for a quality product. We love your tutorial videos. Much love from Canada, Vancity.
did you have the issue with the towel leaving behind lint? because that’s the issue i’m having
@@matthewbadenius3645 when you buy a drying towel you need to wash it first before use. However, with microfiber towels you need to wash them with mild detergent (no fabric softeners, bleach or scented detergents) but it’s best to use dedicated microfiber detergents. Wash with cold water and extra rinse if possible. Air dry it or dry it on warm setting never hot or air fluff.
How do you clean and maintain The Woolly Mammoth towel ? do you need to clean it after every car? and whats the safest way to dry it ?
Hey there! Use Microfiber Wash to gently clean your microfiber goods and dry on LOW HEAT/TUMBLE or air dry to prevent damage. If the towel is used frequently it doesn't have to be washed as often but if it sits for extended periods of time it should be washed and dried before storing.
That towel is a freaking beast! Definitely finna order one after watching this 😅
Gotta love the Woolly Mammoth Drying Towel!
@@ChemicalGuys I just placed an order excited to try it out! I always had a problem drying my vehicle because of it not absorbing much or because of the fuzz that would come out from them this one looks perfect for the job can’t wait !
Same!
" that foam flaps " Proceeds to intro 🤣👍
Thanks so much for watching!
Does the after wash works on any color car without damaging it or leaving marks?
Hey Carlos! After Wash is safe to use on any color gloss finish vehicle.
It is best to get the wholly mammoth damp before starting to dry, or just start with it completely dry?
Hey! It works well completely dry.
Your intro cracked me up “he doesn’t know much about detailing” 🤣
😄😄
Lol
Can you use the after wash spray if your car has a ceramic coating on it before drying?
Absolutely!!
I was looking at your detail flow chart and was wondering what is the waiting time between each step ?
Hey! Check out this video for our Detailing Flowchart.

Very cool!
Happy detailing!!
I mostly use a leaf blower to dry our Yukon with. Will After Wash make that process even faster?
Hi there! After Wash is an awesome drying aid that helps to prevent water spots but a dedicated drying towel should be used to buff to a streak-free finish.
Hi guys love the show but do you need to use after wash to use the microfibre towel
Hi Mo! After Wash will aid in the drying process and prevent water spots but it isn't necessary use it with your microfiber towel.
Thanks so much my son is starting a car wash to save money for school stuff will these microfibre towels work as I hope I didn’t waste my money I bought them off Zoro I hope they work pls tell me if they will
That was awesome and i plan on buying one!
two questions pls ..., you said 'Dont wring it out in the middle as it can hold a lotta water' ...,
1. so do u just air dry it after you're done ?
2. to clean it for future uses..., can i use washing machine with certain specific settings?
Thank you!
Hello! Use Microfiber Wash to clean and protect all of your microfiber goods. Use low heat/tumble to dry microfiber or let them air dry.
Is the "CG afterwash" safe to use for ceramic coated cars?
Hey! Absolutely, After Wash is ceramic safe.
On a large SUV like a ‘Burban would you wring the mammoth?
Absolutely!!

I'm not a master detailer, but shouldn't the car get a pre-rinse before you foam it up
Absolutely! Henry mentions the rinse at 1:07 as it was not enough to knock off heavily embedded particles. Check out the previous video in this series which details the rinse and foaming! ruclips.net/video/deZqtRvSgN8/видео.html
Soul Odoms I agree why wash snow foam off amid risk scratches , rinse off then wash with a mitt surely
Crazy how much ash is there after the fires I guess
Hi Graham! Absolutely, there is a ton of ash and fallout. Stay safe, happy detailing!!
Sorry guys correction: up up down down left right left right b a SELECT start lol

😆
Hey Chemical guys am I part of the family
Absolutely!!
Chemical Guys yay 😁
Smfh so I’m not supposed to actually rub the car with the towel? GREAT no wonder my cars always get scratched tf up.
Hey! It is always best to work in linear motions when washing and drying the vehicle to prevent swirls and scratches.
I have a few supplies but gosh darn it I want to win a giveaway!!! Lol
Best of luck!!
Wait! If Jason didn’t do it in one minute , you were gonna rewet and show him how it’s done!!??😕
