  • While everyone is moving to Davinci, I have yet to make the switch and I'm okay with that! I've been enjoying finding my process of how I color in adobe premiere as well as my overall workflow when editing. Adobe premiere is still an industry standard NLE and does really well if you're new to color grading and work in premiere! So I hope this video helps you all!
    And if you work in any other NLE the same thing applies, learn the process of what everything is created for and how it affects your image. they all do the same things just in different ways, some more than others, some better than others but at the end of the day before the Davinci fans came it was premiere! Start somewhere, learn and grow!

    I'm also glad to see that you covered the skin line in the vectorscope for darker skin. This is something not a lot of creators cover in their videos.

      Honest not much of a difference. I just don’t use creative luts anymore. And play around more with the color wheels and huh vs hue to dial in my color. Everything else is pretty much similar!

    I’m so happy to finally see this, I tried reaching you on Instagram about these same color grading tips and which app you mostly use for grading. I’m okay with what I have learnt here and hoping to see more fun but yet educative videos like this.
    I have a request though;
    Could you please share with us the link to the Sony LUT you mentioned in the video?
    Than you ☺️

    Been waiting for a video like this, thanks for explaining the basic workflow of using an existing creative LUT and then diving into color grading without a creative LUT. Do you also have a video on the settings you use on your FX3?

    • @BrittneyJanae
      @BrittneyJanae  9 месяцев назад +3

      No problem!! I usually shoot slog 3. And I make sure my exposure compensation is at +1 or a little more but never over 2 stops.

      Yes usually I’m always at least 1.0 over. I use the exposure compensation to always check that.
